Gutted but not surprised to see Tino leaving, I am a little confused why he would choose to go to the team whose best player is at right back... but I'm sure Tino will overtake Trippier by the end of the season. Newcastle fans will love him. Good deal all around. I fully expect him to be straight in the next England squad!

I don't think any of those incomings will be pulling up trees to be honest. They're banking on Coady being the new Jonny Evans but the reason he was moved on from Wolves in the first place is he can't play in a back four. Steffen might be fine but he's 28 years old and only played one full season. Harry Winks is shite. They're losing their best player in Maddison, almost certainly Barnes and Iheanacho too - they will be lining up with Jamie Vardy up front again (to the horror of my father-in-law).

They would really be better off going for KWP, £25m would do it and he's better than what they have at LB and would be decent back-up/competition for Trippier at RB who, while excellent, is 32 and not getting any younger.

Abu is at the end of his contract, not part of a deal with Chelsea. I think we are all expecting KWP to be off this window so it make sense to have somebody half-decent in the B team with only Tino and Bree ahead of him.
