I'd like to see Djenepo for Walcott soon
-
Fuck me ref is having an absolute shocker.
-
Looked like Ings was more involved initially, replay proves me wrong! Good goal, I think we needed that!
-
Offside surely? Need the replay - delighted if it stands!
-
Ramsdale is wise to Ings' hit-it-hard-through-the-legs routine.
-
83% possession so far!

One-time target Quincey Promes has been arrested in NL for suspected involvement in a stabbing.
-
Strong side, good bench. Jagielka playing his first PL match since July for Sheffield Utd.
-
Good to see Rashford absolutely conning the ref to win his side a penalty, same as every week. VAR rules it offside thankfully.

Contrary to most people on this forum, I'm a big fan of statistics in football - xG and all that. However this particular report is pretty much useless, considering the metrics they use to quantify "mistakes". An unsuccessful tackle is a mistake? Losing a duel or aerial duel? As Shroppie says, based on those criteria, playing the game will generate loads of mistakes.

Since when does intent matter for a handball in the area? Penalty all day long.

Is he trying to claim something from the ref with his arm up? Stupid thing to do.
-
Vestergaard going for a little wander again, he was the furthest man forward at the turnover leading to Djenepo's yellow and made no attempt to run back.
-
I thought Brighton were allowed fans in the stadium? Silent.
-
Applause tonight before kick off. Good to see.
-
I'm glad we have KWP now, Solly March always used to have one good game a season and it was always up against Cedric.
-
Brighton played very well against Liverpool, very effective pressing. We struggled against Utd's pressing so let's hope Ralph has had a chance to fix that area of our game.
-
Obafemi and N'Lundulu both played 90 mins on Friday for the U23s (Obafemi scored), though I guess this game being on a Monday probably doesn't cause so many issues with that.
-
Fractured skull, he's having surgery today. The real shocker is that Luiz was allowed back on the pitch after colliding with another player hard enough to hospitalise him.
-
I agree, Walcott seemed to mess up everything he tried today. Adams was having to do everything himself when he's used to knowing exactly where Ings will be. Particularly evident after Long came on, instead of playing with 2 up top it was suddenly more of a lone-striker role for Adams, with Theo on the left and Long being God-knows-where.
-
Just lazy writing! Southampton losing after being 2-0 up, United getting a winner in stoppage time. Ah well, hope this gives everyone a kick up the backside before Brighton next week. Ings back would be huge.
-
Fuck me we did not deserve to lose this.
-
I think this is the first game where we've obviously been missing Ings. Walcott has been poor, Long not going to pull up any trees.
-
Vestergaard playing 3 players onside there, Ralph will not be pleased! Just the penalty to go for the 2-3 comeback.
