Pompey v Accrington on Sky Sports on Sunday if anybody wants to watch them bottle the playoffs. If they lose and Oxford get at least a point against Burton, or if Oxford win and Portsmouth only draw, they will miss out on playoffs altogether.

More expensive Walcott. Don't want to keep either.
-
Hilarious that Poch, who has never won a trophy as a manager, goes to PSG who are guaranteed to win the league every year and is screwing that up, and now at a disadvantage in the CL semis!
-
This issue isn't that de Pfeffel has shit taste in wallpaper, or even that he's somehow managed to spend over £100k in renovating a flat he will only live in for a few years; it's that, yet again, our politicians are easily (and so cheaply!) bought. Give him a small £58k and he'll give you millions in government contracts without having to go through a tender process. Everybody wins! ...apart from the public.

Big loss for PSG in the second leg. Do they have a similar controlling DM?
-
1-1, incredible that those go in even in CL semis! Best man on the pitch by miles has been the referee, so much flopping about and he's hardly biting on any of it.

I like to pop on this thread occasionally, it's genuinely unbelievable that there are (presumably) intelligent, otherwise rational people STILL arguing that climate change is all a big hoax in 2021. The only people that benefit from it are people involved in the fossil fuel industry - that's why they started climate change denialism in the 70s in the first place.

He'd be perfect for a team like Juve or Barca, where they dominate the ball and don't have to actually do a huge amount of defending. Big fan of his, hope we can keep him for another season but wouldn't be against selling him for a decent price.
-
The really worrying thing is that 29 year-old Ryan Mason with fuck all managerial experience can work out how to nullify our system and change things at half time.
-
I think someone here earlier has it right - once the ref gave the free kick, all VAR was able to look at was if it was in/out the box, not whether a) there was a hand ball in the build up or b) if it's even a foul in the first place given the Spurs player swings his leg into Djenepo's boot. I'm certain though that if this was the first week of the season, it's a free kick to us for the handball.
-
It's genuinely baffling how we can be so good one half and then completely impotent second. Is it just fitness? Or squad depth? Mental weakness and lack of confidence in our ability to hold on to a lead? Are the players being told to tone it down once we're ahead to try and save some energy? I'm not Ralph Out, not yet at least while we have nothing to play for, but something seriously has to change or be worked out before next season.

Back to the top of the "points dropped" league at least!
-
Surely Alderweireld handles that directly before the penalty?
-
Ah fuck they're going to give a penalty.
-
Coleman obviously a big fan of Bale but he doesn't half show it, does he?!
-
A let off, terrible defending for that, glad to see it ruled out though! Makes it about 2 VAR decisions that have gone in our favour this season.
-
Moss owes us.
-
Fuck off Lo Celso.
-
Glad to see Walcott off, done nothing all game (again).
-
Definitely not.
-
Ah well. Probably would have given them a penalty, Salisu blocking Moura's shot anyway. Why do we always collapse after half time?
-
How? Diallo into midfield, Armstrong out wide, Walcott up top.
-
Shocking defending from Vestergaard, fortunately Moura isn't very good.
-
Christ the size of Dier's nuts, pulling Bale off a free kick for him to hit it into the wall's midriff.
-
Son absolutely buying that free kick.
