Hull have had 11 shots. We're very lucky only 4 of them have been on target.
-
Three times in a minute that Bazunu has played the ball straight into an under-pressure Smallbone, who gives it back, who goes long to Edozie. I understand that's what they've been drilled to do, but when it's not working they need to think for themselves and try something different.

Got to give them a head start, it's only fair 😃

Get ready to start the "Manning out of position" counter fellas 😁
-
Man I wish I got paid £70k/week for being awful at my job.
-
3 days between games is brutal, we had Saturday -> Tuesday to try and figure out how to deal without our key midfielder while also making sure players were properly rested, and again Tuesday -> Friday (which is ludicrous scheduling, why isn't this at the weekend?) without even being sure if said key midfielder will be fit. There's only so much you can teach in a lecture theatre without putting in the hours on the training pitch.

I think we've realised all their threat is coming down their right and Manning is not a very good defender. KWP on a yellow now though so might switch back.
-
I repeat...
-
Think I would bring Mara on for Brooks and put AA back out on the right.
-
Time to bring on Brooks and Rothwell..!
-
Surely offside?
-
Stuart Armstrong the only alternative midfielder on the bench, I think Charles will get 15 minutes in the second half to buck his ideas up before he's hooked.
-
Charles has swapped with Smallbone who is now the 6.
-
For quite literally the hundredth time - WHY the fuck is Manning taking corners from his wrong side? Leaves us open to a counter attack every time. They're not even very good corners!
-
Fantastic tackle in the box, was that THB?
-
Ready for him to score a screamer then if he follows the Joe Rothwell example!
-
Edozie and Brooks are staying very wide, and then Rothwell/Smallbone are also going very wide to receive passes. Must be tactical, keeping the fullbacks deeper but we risk being overrun in the middle.
-
Don't think Swansea are going to do us many favours tonight...
-
Hopefully Rothwell in for Stu Armstrong, Charles in for Downes, Mara in for Adams and who knows who will play wide forwards. Edozie, Brooks, Adam Armstrong, Fraser all have strong claims to their spots.

Having followed Bristol City for the last 6 years, I am not at all worried about this one. They are the most mid-table Championship team there is - beat the teams they are expected to beat, draw with the teams around them, lose to the top half teams without putting up much of a fight. I think Huddersfield have given teams a good blueprint of how to play against us, but City won't have time to implement those tactics against us. Our wide players will have a lot of fun, if Mara starts over Adams I think he will get a couple early on. (Watch us lose this one now!)
-
Errr what?
-
Fucking hell, couldn't have asked for a better start!
-
Very glad I don't have to make decisions on the team - Fraser/Sulemana/Edozie fighting for the left attacking spot, AArmstrong/Brooks/Amo-Ameyaw on the right, Adams/Mara in the middle. I imagine they'll all get plenty of game time over the next few weeks, we've got a midweek + weekend game every week for the next four weeks.

The actual thing is this: very very few people actually give a shit, particularly in Britain. The right keep trying to import tactics from the US (see also: 15 minute cities) but British people have a much more "you do you" kind of attitude to these types of things. I'd wager £1000 most people are much more concerned about how they are going to pay their mortgage going up by hundreds of pounds, or getting an appointment with their GP, or what would happen if a loved one needed to be rushed to hospital but had to wait hours for an ambulance. Sure, there is a conversation that needs to be had about transgender issues, and it's a conversation that I, as a straight man, am not particularly qualified to be a part of (or, to be honest, very interested in). As Rishi is so keen to talk about "the British people's priorities", I'd suggest that a cast-iron definition of a woman is in about 600th place; between the correct shade of white for a street light and the latest acceptable date to take down your Christmas decorations.

Was Dibling the one who moved to Chelsea and then came back almost immediately because he realised he'd never get a look in?
