People are struggling now - and it's a fairly warm spring. The price cap will go up again in October and they're talking about adjusting the cap every 3 months instead of every 6. Once winter comes around and energy bills are the same cost as a mortgage - we will be in real trouble.

I agree that we're not spending £15m on a back up, but we clearly need to bring someone in to cover the full-back positions as Tino is out until Christmas at the earliest (and then it's a coin-flip if he'll come back as good as he was). I imagine we'll pick up someone very cheap from the continent similar to Martina or an old player looking for a final contract without much playing time (Coleman perhaps?).

Apologies, I misremembered, it's £15m(ish) from player trading. We sold Ings, Vestergaard, Gunn, Lemina and Obafemi for around £55m and bought Armstrong, Perraud, Lyanco and Livramento for around £40m.

Hard to say, we made £30m profit last season that we didn't spend and must have reduced the wage bill a fair bit, but we have the big loan that needs paying off too. Presumably with fans back we will have a bit more to play with than we had last season too.

What a shit half. We're playing a 2-man defence with two of the most out-of-form defenders in the league, Forster has reverted to type (i.e. shit), Diallo nowhere to be seen most of the time, and our attackers don't want to take risks when attacking. Brentford should be out of sight.

Diallo doesn't have the positional discipline to play the Romeu role, he likes going forward too much and then losing the ball in bad positions, leaving the midfield completely open.
