Wind 1 - 1 Wind? We can go back to a sensible game now, I hope.
-
On the other hand, I can see Stoke giving away many fouls in dangerous areas. With JWP putting the ball in, I can see our set-piece goal tally increasing by at least one.
-
Glad to see JWP and JRod retain their places, bench looks good too. I hope we bring Cork on at some stage just to p*ss off the Stoke fans.
-
I will frankly be disappointed if we don't take this chance to send Stoke further towards relegation with a resounding win. We got 3 goals there last season and arguably have an improved attack with a top-form Lallana, so I don't see why we can't do the same again! 3-1 Saints.
-
I assume after tonight's matches. That's how it usually works, right?
-
Birmingham are doing a very good job of tiring out Stoke for us - 3-3 in stoppage time, looks like a 120 minute game!
-
And Lambert was expensive considering our position when we bought him.
-
I think we may see Isgrove on the bench, I fancy him to do well against a team like Fulham.
-
Can't look too much worse than last week's.

If this happened, presumably that would mean shipping out Jos or Maya? Not too upset by that prospect, to be honest.
-
I think we can safely say Gaston will feature on Saturday.

I do think Fulham are the kind of team he'll perform well against - they give opponents time on the ball and a touch of class undoes their mediocre defense. I'd hope he starts, but I think competition for places it too tight. Stick him in the centre of the front three with Lallana and Rodriguez either side, and Lambert up top, I think he'll do well. -
The wind has gone out of our sails since the goal, the pressing's all but disappeared.
-
JRod, Lallana and Davis all looking very good so far; Man U look shaky on the ball, lots of sloppy passes. They can't work out what to do with our pressing game, an early goal would be both excellent and plausible right now.
-
I like the look of the starting line-up, our bench looks a bit weak though. JWP and Lambert will get on, but aside from that the only other attacking option is Guly? No Ramirez once again.

Joshua Debayo signs professional deal with Saints

Not been given the birthday gift of a big shiny watch, I see. -
Still not playing our best, but nobody is going to complain about that result. Lallana looks almost back to his best; him, Clyne and Boruc are my man of the match candidates.
-
2-0! JRod!
-
Goal disallowed for an invisible foul by some unknown player; never should've been a corner in fairness. Awful refereeing once again in a Saints game.
-
Routledge coming off seems to have opened up a bit more space on the right, the new fella doesn't seem to be closing down as much. Wanyama still can't pass.
-
Lambert off, JRod on.
-
I'm not usually too anti-Fox, but my word he is not a Premier League standard full back. Especially poor positioning today and his passing is worse than Wanyama's.
-
JWP on for Osvaldo.
-
Nasty tackle on Osvaldo by Cañas, Osvaldo hobbles off. Yellow for Cañas.
-
Fox and Wanyama look the weak links to me at the moment, Dyer is exactly the kind of player Fox struggles against. He's not too bad against many players, but somebody with Dyer's pace will beat him all day long. Wanyama just seems to be chugging along fairly aimlessly, doing his best to avoid the ball - though in fairness, I missed the first 15 minutes of the game, so he may have done something useful in that time.
