No chance he'd take the cut in wages we'd require - he went to QPR as a mercenary, only in it for the money, he's more than happy to sit on a bench whilst raking it in.

I'll agree with everyone else on defence/goalkeeping, but there were at least positives to take from the game: - Lallana was clearly excellent, he was all over the pitch, a proper captain's performance. - Gallagher looked good when he came on, great run too late on. - Gaston showed flashes of class, although still failed to do some of the simple things. - Lovren we excellent as always, and more importantly was getting visibly frustrated at Hooiveld and Gazzanigga; if MoPo really was planning on signing nobody in January, I think Lovren may have a few words to say to him about that. - Fox wasn't actually too bad, I guess? - No horrendous refereeing decisions, which is a nice rarity.

How much longer is Boruc out for? How long before we give Cropper a chance?
