  1. But has he got tattoos? Gotta have tattoos to be an England RB. Clyne's got the edge there.

Didn't somebody tell us next season's is red, it's Cortese's last input? Anyway, I am the solitary voter of red/white quarters.

He might be better than Gallagher at the moment, but is there any point in him playing? Gallagher is the future (at least for now), Guly's on his way out. If this was a must-win game then I'd agree, but we're finishing eighth whatever happens in these two games. Newcastle won't get 6 points, and neither Swansea or Man U have a good enough attack to put 6/7 past our defence. Reed and Gallagher for me please, and I'd rather see Cork and Wanyama in DM if Morgan isn't 100%.

I like the idea of red and white quarters. Something different.
  5. He'll go and then get injured in the Italy game, or beforehand in training, and then we'll be down to 22 players for the rest of the tournament.
  6. If I wanted Clarkson to be sacked, that would involve agreeing with and siding with Piers Morgan. Therefore, Clarkson for PM.
  7. No. He said a word that I'm sure we've all said before. The media are blowing it out of proportion, as usual. If Clarkson gets the sack, I'm sure there are many many other, better reasons to sack him.
  8. £10mil for the pair, my sources tell me.
  9. I don't see him in any of the photos...
  10. Gotta feel a liiiittle sorry for the linesmen... as if they weren't bad enough at their jobs at St Mary's already, we go and do this! Top work.
  11. As much as I hate pandering to you, Glasgow, I feel I should give you another of your beloved statistics: in the last 24 hours (also known as a 'day'), you've posted 40 times. I know, I just went and counted, and it's two minutes of my life I'll never get back. Interesting to know you're a professional too. Wouldn't a professional be slightly better at his job than the rest of us amateurs?
  12. All true, I'm sure, I haven't seen that much of him in recent years apart from his CL escapades with Bayern. Maybe Townsend's as observant as me and thinks that if he shoots a lot then he'll be as good? Either way, it doesn't look like he'll be in this squad, which is good enough for me.
  13. I think what he was getting at was that he's very one-dimensional - Townsend and Robben both have one trick in their books and not a lot else. Get the ball on the right, run down it a bit, cut inside at about 20 yards and have a pop, the main difference being that Robben can actually shoot consistently. However he's still the most one-footed world class footballer I can remember seeing.
  14. Taking Clyne would also give us a solid plan B - when plan A inevitably fails (because come on, it's England) then Roy can stick the Saints fullbacks on and tell them to bomb up the pitch like they do for us. I'd much rather trust Shaw and Clyne in that role than Cole and Walker.
  15. Using trousers' excellent analogy from before, surely if there's a couple of tw*ts in the pub ruining it for everyone else, singing loudly for attention, shoving into you and trying to start fights, it's better for the landlord (admin) to get rid of them so the majority of the people there that are fed up with them don't simply go and find another pub to drink in? I fail to understand why stevegrant et al. continute to cater to the minority of pillocks - is it because you know that GS and Barry will definitely be renewing their membership? Are they your most loyal customers, so much so that you can't understand that getting rid of the two of them will bring many more people back from the fringes? I've not been in this pub long; I never knew a time when I could sit and have a quiet conversation and sensible debate with intelligent, diverse people about a topic we enjoy without some fat bloke pushing me off my stool every five minutes. But I hope one day I can.
  16. Can we just boot anybody that refers to our professional international players as 'Gash' or 'Oswaldo' before heading off to giggle at their own wit for 20 minutes?
  17. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. UKIP will get a seat or two, and we'll still end up with a Labour/Lib Dem coalition that will do absolutely nothing constructive. Might switch back from grades of A/B/C from the new 1/2/3? I'm not sure if I'm ready for that.
  18. Nah, coz when you're trying to prove a point you bend statistics to work in your favour by 'rounding', like how Kellogg's once claimed Frosted Mini Wheats improved attentiveness in children by 20%, when they were actually rounding up from 11%. Happens all the time in science when somebody sees profitability in a new material or drug or something. So Pochettino's actually had a 25% win rate when rounding to the nearest multiple of 25. What a terrible manager, sack him and get Allardyce in! He knows how to get balls into the box.
  19. How is Lampard worming his way back into these squads? Has he done anything useful this season apart from probably take a couple of penalties?
  20. You've failed the experiment already
  21. So, who's claiming to be ITK this time around? Apart from Crab Lungs?
  22. That's presumably what the 7 reserves are for?
  23. Barry Sanchez is the only genuine 100% troll on here really. Glasgow tries his best, bless his little cotton socks, but every now and then he comes out with something vaguely interesting and constructive. Plus he starts like 98% of the matchday/build-up threads. He still lives his life on my account on ignore though
  24. Townsend almost certainly out injured during the world cup. This is good because it means he won't be in the squad, but bad because there will still be people that insist that he would have gone if not for injury, when clearly he's a bit pants. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27205351
