I was in edinburgh airport, with gb behind me at security. I asked if he thought saints would survive? "it's going to be tight down there," he said. I pointed out young kayne mclaggon scored last night. "is he any good?" asked gb i was quite surprised at this - but then i can't remember if gb was at the club when mclaggon joined the academy. If he was then he obviously took little interest in the youngsters. But i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. "he's going to go a long way," i said. And with that gb went one way and i the other.
