We've still got Fonte. We'll replace Toby. No big deal.

Are Saints doing all their business early

Maybe he's haggling over wages -
Can't see us replacing him with anyone as talented this transfer window. We'd need to be in CL and able to offer silly wages to do that. Can't help feeling that losing Morgan will drop us down a place or two in the league by the end of the season. Despite that, I don't begrudge him going to a CL team. He's earnt that opportunity. If he goes to Spurs or, dare I say it, Liverpool (surely he wouldn't?!), I'd be very disappointed.

Even if the foreign player turned out to be more motivated and impressed more in training? -

In signing Cedric, I think RK would've seen it as we then had 2 RB's of similar quality to compete for a first team place. -

I guess he just decided he'd rather play first team football at Liverpool than sit on the bench at Saints. Says it all about the direction of travel for both clubs. Wouldn't be surprised if Saints are already discussing terms with his replacement -

I've long been resigned to him leaving. Just disappointing that it had to be Liverpool - shows a lack of ambition and prioritising wages above development as a player imo. Oh well. His loss more than ours. -
Surely we signed Juanme instead? With Jay Rod back as well, that completes our additional strikers for next season

Fixtures out tomorrow - who will we get first game?
Brave Sir Robin replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
I reckon there's a very good chance it will be on TV, as it's on Sunday and the TV companies will be looking for a game to show that day. I'm going for Home against Norwich -
Great. I can't get the Thunderbirds music out of my head now.

Suprised Arsenal aren't favourites to sign Morgan. Why on Earth would Austin pick Newcastle over Saints?!!
-
£15m sounds about right. Everyone's fees will be higher this year because of new tv money. Would be a great addition. We need much more strength in depth now we've got Europa to consider as well

Inter Milan want Ramirez?!!! Now I know they definitely make this stuff up! -
Strikes me as a good fit. I can definately seeing him doing well there. Might even get them to the Prem

Top 4 chance now gone? Europa Thoughts?
Brave Sir Robin replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
I see West Ham are through to Europa via fair play, meaning the season will start for them on July 2nd! The more I learn about this competition the more I think we'll have dodged a bullet if Villa win the cup! If we qualify, I hope we go for it, but I'm right behind Les's hint that we'll field more youngsters than we would in league games, at least in the early stages. Far too risky with a small squad otherwise. -
Less stripes on the child's shirt? Not so keen on that

A thing of beauty. Very happy with that :-)

Not looking great for Jay Rod either. Is it just me or was he mumbling and slurring a bit in his interview?
