Would definitely offer a similar direct threat that Puncheon had, but with a lot more pace and power.

With the figures above it's clear why the club wanted to get out of the deal early (allegedly). This is the last season of the aap3 deal isn't it?

Puncheon to Palace - Official (Season Loan)
Bewildered replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well if he wants to focus on his family then fair play, perhaps Liverpool or Everton will make an offer towards the end of the window. Far too good to be stuck in the championship. -

I'm shocked Ince is still at Blackpool. Their chairman must be pricing him out of a move otherwise he'd have moved by now. Sad thing for Blackpool fans is that even if they were to get 10m Karl Oysten will siphon it off into his own wallet while the team operates on a shoestring and they know it. -

Without replacement I would have rather we kept Punch as his more direct approach meant he offered something JWP, Davis and Gaston don't. -
But I thought they said they were on the brink of their wage bill limit, David Gold said so himself and we all know he never tells porkies about how restricted they are financially!

Arsenal look to have completely lost the plot this summer.

Don't get the press conference lark, they should have done a video similar to the one WBA did for Anelka [video=youtube_share;v37suDoylik]

Yeah, Roma announced the details on their website. Very good price for a player of his ability.

With Osvaldo in we would have 4 attacking spots and options consisting of Lallana Ramirez Rodriguez Davis JWP Puncheon Lambert Guly to compete for them, obviously Lambert, Osvaldo and Rodriguez will be the players that will compete for the CF spot, but it appears there will be good competition and a variety of options for MP regarding the 3 AM slots.

yeah, Hola works.

Quality went up and down when I watched Liverpool v Stoke and for the first half of Saints, but 2nd half the quality stayed consistent. It's all a new set up for AJ this Internet streaming service, so hopefully these are just teething issues and they will get better as the weeks go on.

Prediction: FIRST PREM MANAGER TO GET THE SACK?
Bewildered replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Going to go with Di Canio. Can't imagine Prem players and internationals putting up with his antics for too long. -

Good performance, Chambers did very well and looks like he'll be excellent competition for Clyne at RB as was JWP, who could have a far more important role in the squad this season. Wanyama was also very good, but hopefully he can concede fewer fouls in dangerous areas for the rest of the season. I think, if we can sign another striker we will do very well this season Lovren was MOtM for me.
-
Rodriguez has been frsutrating so far, few few decent runs but his passing & crossing have been poor at times. Wanyama looking like he'll make the centre of our midfield a lot tougher physically. Hate to say it, but I think Mulumbu & Yacob would have been bullying us out of the game if Cork was in there instead of VW.

Hey now, the Daily Star has all the scoops! Did you know that Gareth Bale has to leave Spurs before the 31st as his tax disc runs out?

Targett has been very unimpressive IMO
