  1. Maybe. Bridcutt would be cheaper and Poyet will already know him well from his time at BHA.
  2. May as well give him the opportunity tomorrow, was given a chance Saturday and took it. If it doesn't work out so be it, he's only 18 and he will at least learn something from the experience to take forwards. Plus it would allow us to keep Rodriguez cutting in from wide where he is most effective.
  3. Looks like we only want one in
  4. Bank blocked the takeover for some reason.
  5. In the article the full wording is
  6. In non saints transfer news PSG and Newcastle have agreed a deal for Cabaye according to Ben Smith, big blow for them if that goes through.
  7. If they have that kind of money.
  8. A unique looking plane, no seatbelts or anything.
  9. Unless he's on a plane with a built in TV studio I am skeptical http://www.udinese.it/portal/EN/handle/?hil&page=redazione_notizie&vid=2069
  10. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/juventus-interested-in-osvaldo/ Di Marzio says Juve are interested if they can shift vucinic, but also that Valencia have offered 18m euros. I thought Valencia were broke so that seems a bit strange.
  11. Reportedly about to join QPR on loan. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/championship-belfodil-39-london-qpr-loan-talks-39-102302006--sow.html
  12. Should try and get a swap for Banega
  13. It's pretty clear he will be gone in the summer, what the club need to do is spend the next half season scouting Europe for possible replacement LBs and getting one of those through the door before we let the deal for Shaw to go through.
  14. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/osvaldo-no-contacts-with-italian-clubs-southamptons-conditions/ According to Di Marzio, there is no real interest from Italy yet. However, West Ham would like to take him on loan, but neither Saints or Osvaldo are keen.
  15. It seems the thing you linked to is based on something that was in Tuttosport, which is a heavily Juve-centric paper, so it could well be a possibility.
  16. No, I think Morgan is still a bit better than the other two going forwards. Would be interesting to see all three in the side with Morgan playing in a more advanced position in place of Davis.

  18. Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook 25m Jesus Perez refuses to comment on the future of @danistone25 #saintsfc Not looking good for Osvaldo
  19. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/22377/History/der Not the best record, but he's having a good season and probably won't cost a lot. Italian report seems to be based off the article penned by Alex Crook in The Mirror and he got the rumour from SportsDirectNews, so I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.corrieredellosport.it%2Fcalcio%2Fcalcio_mercato%2F2014%2F01%2F25-348397%2FCalciomercato%2C%2B%25C2%25ABEder%2Bal%2BSouthampton%2BInter%2Be%2BJuve%2Bsu%2BOsvaldo%25C2%25BB
  20. Jesús Pérez on transfers: "It's not my responsibility to talk about this. We will see over the next few days." Obviously it is down to MP really, but it might suggest a shift of stance from Thursday when he was happy to say we would not be replacing Ramirez and Lovren. Also wouldn't comment on Osvaldo's future apparently
  21. penalty saints
  22. I think he'll wind up at Chelsea in the summer, and for more than 22m. Shaw is one of the hottest defensive talents in Europe and when the time comes to sell I would be shocked if there is only one club that tries to sign him.
  23. lol Alex Crook got that Eder story from prominent bull****ters sportsdirectnews. http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/39003-southampton-eyeing-serie-a-striker.php#.UuL8EbTFLIU
