So then, from what I can make out we will be getting stripes back, but maybe not until the Adidas deal has run its course. On Monday next he will be sitting down with whomever, MoPo , Shaw, Lallana et,al to sort out deals. He wants us to invest in the future by carrying on with the great work we are doing with young British talent. It may be my new rose tinted glasses playing tricks on me but, the future looks bright.

To me MoPo didn't look like a manager who isn't happy at a club. Jumping around, getting heavily involved. Maybe that video should be shown to the hacks, maybe it will stop all the speculation.

Finishing 8th in the premier league means that we can enjoy the last couple of games of the season without having to be looking down worrying about relegation. Long may it continue.

So with Lallana, Shaw, Morgan, Chambers, Lovren, Cork & Clyne all rumoured to be leaving for either Moan U, Arsenal or Citeh. Which of our current players will actually be able to turn out for the team next season? Seeing as MoPo is guaranteed to be leaving to manage Spurs, PSG or any one of the other clubs he has been linked to who is going to manage this 6a side team of ours?

Not really fussed about returning to stripes but if we do it needs to be different to everyone else in the league. Really hate this years bargain basement kit (thanks Nicola). love the monochrome badge (thanks Nicola). but most of all I hate the fact that we don't have a kit that is SAINTS, be it Air Florida, sash or whatever we need to be unique. By staying with Adidas we will continue to wear chavy kits the like of which can be seen walking down any pompey high street.

At the end of the day it wasn't NC that saved our club it was ML, his money allowed us to win promotion from L1 & Championship. His money allowed us to rebuild the club, upgrade the training ground etc. His family who control the club & his Daughter who is going to take this club to the next level. All NC did was to spend other peoples money whilst making arguably poor business decisions. Love them or loathe them the owners of the club have the right to do what they think is for the betterment of the football club, that in their opinion meant to make changes at board level. The truth about NC & his dealings will come out in time then we can really judge just how well he did for the club or indeed for himself.

I really think that Adidas kits are sh1t. So many better options.
