I think all of our defenders have improved immensly this season. It must have something to do with being coached on a daily basis by arguably the best defender there has ever been. Koeman will have even been able to make Jos look good.

The term plastic fan really annoys me. Just because some of us have chosen to move away from Southampton and live in other parts of the country or indeed the world doesn't mean we are plastics. What with the cost of a ticket coupled with the cost of travel etc then supporting your club becomes very expensive. I for one have supported saints for over 40 years & have been to hundreds of games in that time, but just because I am not there every game singing from the stands does not make me a plastic & doesn't detract stop me being a true fan. I am sure there are countless others who will feel the same.

All in all improvements all round a stronger squad than last year. 2 players coming in who have played in CL finals & a better manager. So then did the board do good & are all those who wet their beds & slagged the board off going to admit they were wrong? Shame to see Jos go. in my opinion every player brought in has either been on par or better than who they replaced. It is quite ironic that the players who left for exorbinate amounts of money wanted to play CL football (most of them won't) but we bought in 2 players who have one the bloody thing..

I think he will stay, judging from comments made by RK & the fact that Cork never really got on with Poochitino. He will is happy here and will not want to go to Palace(the only real option).
