I don't necessarily agree with the " it's not a good time to replace the manager before the City game" yes it won't be great for a new guy to suffer the inevitable huge defeat in his first game, but let's face it, we're not going to get anything from this game but, it will give the new man a game to see how the players react then he can make changes in the following training sessions & move forward from there.
-
I'd go with the following: AM, Bazunu & Willy ABK DCC lyanco Salisu AMM JWP Diallo Che with this team we may be able to stop Haaland from scoring more than 6 against us.
-
I may be wrong, but I don't think this guy is a massive fan of his.

so the game is due to kick off at 3pm on saturday. i then believe saints will kick off again at 3.05pm, 3.10pm, 3,20pm, 3.35pm, 3.40pm. 4.05pm, 4.11pm, 4.22pm, 4.30pm, 4.40pm & 4.44pm.

probably because he's got naked/compromising pictures of the owners. That's the only reason i can see as to why he hasn't been sacked yet.

This has got 9-0 written all over it. Ralph Out.
-
I have been Ralph out for a long time. He hasn't performed at all, i believe his win rate is around 35% that is not nearly good enough at this level. i have received all sorts of grief from the pro Ralph brigade all of whom are more than happy to blame the players, coaches, owners, other teams & any number of other reasons. the fact is he just isn't good enough. if he stays then we are looking at relegation. Now is the time to make the change otherwise the WC will be upon us & then i fear it will be too late.

You were a couple of years behind me, i left WP in 88

I used to know a lad who lived in Grainger gardens, went to Heathfield & WP Boys with him during the early/mid 80s.

Landseer road, so the top end.

Born & raised in Sholing, left at 16 to join the Army. Traveled the world, now settled in Windsor. get to a couple of games per season, not nearly as many as I would want to.

Taking the knee was virtue signalling of the highest order, BLM has been proven to be a dodgy, corrupt organisation. Maybe they will now do something to highlight the Slave labour used to build the Qatari World Cup stadiums, or the men who are murdered just for being gay in said country. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Are his new trainers Adidas or Nike? -
So our number 7 shirt has become available & Ronaldo has said he doesn't want to play for Utd anymore. Surely that's only a coincidence. #Conspiracy

Still my favourite ever saints player. He was an absolute beast. I am getting old but i still have a vague memory of him kicking lumps out of people during a testimonial match against Glasgow Rangers.

Like it, can't wait to see the away kit.

At least we're not getting relegated. 😉 -
Any other club with a manager who's record is the same as Ralph's would have sacked the manager months ago. The club come out saying they continue to back Ralph can mean only one thing. Ralph must have compromising photographs of the owners, this is the only reason i can see as to why he hasn't been sacked. There are a number of managers available who would do a far better job with the players we have. Nearly every player has gone backwards under Ralph. Before the inevitable "Who would you get to replace him" come in, below are a few names i would suggest. Jordan Searle Ronald Koeman Nuno Esperito Sancho AVB Dyche Crickey even Ole Gunna Solkjaer would be an improvement.

In no particular order: George Best Kevin Keegan Bobby Moore Jimmy Greeves Paul Gasgoine

Great post, really insightful. Could you do something similar with our new owners?

Breaking news!!! A multi-billionaire has just parked his 737 at Southampton airport & is currently in his car heading towards St Mary's. he is due to sign the contracts in the next couple of hours. This is pukka, story to be on the news at 6pm n:b This is obviously a load of bollocks but it is still better than the shite being discussed on the previous 3 pages.

Chelsea 1-1 (p.4-3) Saints - Match Thread

Overall some great performances last night & a shame we lost on penalties. Lyanco looks like he could be the real deal, let's hope people don't jump on his back if he has a couple of bad games, he is still adjusting to life in England & playing in the top flight. just by the way he celebrated getting a free kick could mean he is already on his way to being a fans favourite & future club legend. Great to see Smallbone back, hopefully he can kick on now. Thought KWP was outstanding & needs to start at RB with Tino in front of him. Big Fraz was a rock. Having said all that Ralph will no-doubt drop all of them for the Watford game. My team would be. Big Fraz KWP Lyanco Salisu Perraud Diallo Ori Tino S Armstrong Tella Broja No starting place for JWP (It looks like we are maybe a better team without him) -
We probably are slightly better without JWP in so far as he doesn't always move the ball as fast as some other players, but we are weaker when it comes to set-pieces etc. having said that though it seems unfair to base this on the last game. We came up against a very poor weakened Leeds side who let's face it would have struggled against most teams in the league. Let's see what happens in the next few games & then we would have a better view of how we are playing & whether or not we're better/worse with or without him. Still Ralph out by the way, 1 decent result against a terrible team doesn't mean he's the messiah again.

Another hypothetical question. Jeff Bezos buys us & promises to invest at least £2billion in the club but changes the name to the Amazon Saints (or some such shite) would you be happy with this? I think i could just about manage to cope with this.
