Celtic could still walk it playing with no keeper. How well he did in Glasgow last few years is reflection on how poor scottish football has become

And yes him sitting on a bench he will get bored especially if with a 10 million signing unless Forster is horrendous he knows he won't step foot on pitch to play

You are very right. Forster is no better than Boruc. Only younger and if Boruc goes then goalkeeper situation is still as woeful as last season. Personally 8million is only because he was around the england set up not because he is amazing

Forster in and I don't see Boruc staying to sit on saints bench and Forster has to be first if 8 million is being paid for him

He is not over weight. He is a massive guy. Him over weight was what he was at end of his celtic days. Really don't think Forsters distribution is any better than Boruc's. Only difference is it could improve as he is younger. I really hope 8 million isn't spent, Boruc goes and we are no better off than being less 8 million as someone above said. Clubs usually plan this in advance so you would assume this is all organised by this stage and new manager just has to come in and go with whatever pre season plan is
