100% agree. We haven't seen half of him, let alone the best of him.

I hate the term 'business' when the context is buying/selling players. Sure, by definition it may well qualify, but it never used to be referred to as 'Good Business' or 'Bad Business' or 'so&so are yet to complete their business'. Hate it with a passion, and only a visual dose of Hayley McQueen takes the edge off it.

Not so much the terms he uses, but Jonathon Pearce on MOTD, when he tries to use the correct pronunciation of foreign players names.....I die inside each time. He says Cazorla like he has a lisp! Mate, you're English. Say everyone else's name wrong like the rest of us!

Hope people stop believing in sky fairies? Or get rid of money. Can't think of any other way TBH. Awful.

Oh mine definitely doesn't, but it'll give me some ammo in a couple of weeks when she claims I never talk to her. I'll say "But I do! Only last week I asked you if Charlie Austin was a handsome man!" Marriage saved
-
Austin's a fairly dashing chap, isn't he? I've no idea though, I'll ask my missus this most important question tonight!

Price.

That could not be more perfect!

Makes you sick, doesn't it?

There is no thread on this forum that I want to become reality more than OP's one here!

That piece makes me feel a bit more reassured about Puel. Comparing his success to Raneri's is a fairly big deal.

He does? He barely kicked a ball last season!

Your first Saints manager appointment and preference?
kitch replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
First one I remember was Alan Ball taking over from Ian Branfoot. Went to my first game at The Dell that summer (think it was either against Norwich or Ipswich.....or Palace!) Wasn't really old or clued up enough (think I was about 11) to have an opinion on the manager though, I just wanted to see Le Tiss play! -
Saints announce Virgin Media as new main club sponsor

It's got to be done. Drop the St and get the bible bashers frothing at the mouth! -
I saw that and nearly fell off my chair! Footballer in non-generic German saloon/coupe/4x4 shocker! I'll see Cuco Martina driving an NSX, or Ryan Bertrand driving a Gordon Keeble next!

An Everton fan without a chip on their shoulder! We should have you stuffed and hung in the wall! All fair points you've made there, for my money. Sucks that it's Everton behind it though, it's more a Liverpool or spurs tactic, but hey ho life goes on.

I took my then just-turned 5 year old twins to the BL friendly back in 2014, and they did ok. They did much better at the Espanyol one last season as they were a bit older, and at SKD's testimonial the other night they were joining in with some of the clapping and stuff. I also took one of the twins (the one who's into football the most) to the Ipswich FA Cup game last season, which was probably the loudest in terms of noise/atmosphere, and he was ok with it. Bit nervy at times, but then mine are pretty nervy kids anyway. Now they're 6 they're able to get into it much more, and I've found the level of interest they have in football really ramped up from age 4 to now. We also took my 4 1/2 year old the other night, which was his first St Marys experience, but he ended up on the tablet after 30mins, even though the game was actually pretty good and he does love playing football. I've never had an issue with any bad language there, but then I don't sit them in the Northam end! I'll just cross that bridge when I come to it. I'd say 4 is too young for them to appreciate the event properly, or as we'd want them to, but it's not too young to actually take them in. I'll take mine to the friendly in the summer I expect, but a PL game will probably be a couple of years away.

Had a great night, but the PA was woeful in the Kingsland for me too (block 31). Only managed to make out what KD was saying at the end, just about. Everything else....I just clapped when everyone else did! Really entertaining spectacle, and I think there's some truth in what KD meant, when he said it wasn't just about him, it was a celebration of everything the club has achieved. It really did feel like that. Good memories for the future

I'm in. Taking the whole brood down. Got some seats slap bang in the middle of the Kingsland
-
Watched him in their cup game against Villa a while back, got to be one of our future 1st CBs IMO.

Never been to a testimonial, quite fancy this. Is it the sort of game you'd take little kids (4 & 6yrs old) to? Didn't know if the humour of it all would pass them by and they might end up getting bored, what with their 10min attention spans?!

So from that we can deduce that some areas that are not in Glasgow, are stunning?

Answer is, yes.
