  1. My bet for Saints new manger "Head Coach Ryan Huska Ryan Huska enters the 2013-14 WHL season coaching his seventh season as the Rockets head coach and coming off one of the best seasons in Kelowna Rockets history. In 2012-13 Huska guided the Rockets to the WHL BC Division championship with a 52-16-3-1 record, setting a new franchise record with 52 wins and also setting a Kelowna-record with a 23 game home winning streak. In his six seasons as head coach, the Rockets have won a WHL championship, placed second at 2009 Memorial Cup and added the BC title last season. His team's have not finished below .500. Huska is one of the most decorated amateur hockey men in Canada with four Memorial Cup championship rings to his name. He has also won a bronze and silver medal as an assistant coach with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships. As a junior player Huska was a centre with the dynasty teams in Kamloops where he won three Memorial Cup championships. He would play 247 career WHL regular season games and 155 playoff games with the Blazers. As a pro he played in the IHL, AHL and also played one game in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks. After retiring as a player, Huska climbed through the coaching ranks with the Rockets beginning in 2002-03 as an assistant coach before becoming the Rockets seventh head coach in history in 2007. In 2004 in Kelowna, he earned his fourth Memorial Cup and first as a coach when he was an assistant to Marc Habscheid when the Rockets won the Memorial Cup. In 2008-09 he guided the Rockets to a WHL banner and a Memorial Cup appearance as a head coach. Born in Cranbrook, he and his wife Denise have two daughters and a son.
  2. I don't think we could do better than having David Moyes as our new manager
  3. I don't think so, or things could get rather Messi around here!
  4. It's no good bleeting about the price...pay up or shut up.....sad but true, because who listens?
  5. The actions of these"people?" Is totally vile. Unconscionable to any sane thinking person, but unfortunately we are living in a very violent world and Britain is playing its part..invading and occupying two countries, directly and indirectly involved with the overthrow or attempted overthrow of a number of others, this only fuels these hatreds.
  6. Great day out to The Arse, nice ground, but pitiful away section for size of stadium....it would be like saints limiting their away allocation to less than 1000, and then sticking them in one pokey corner.....saying that the Arse home support is 2nd division, very poor.
  7. Yeah, it should have been a horses head...."I'll make you an offer you can't refuse"
  8. Though it may likely have been a ploy, there are very few people willing to put their job and career on the line, the fact other were also willing to do so, shows that there is a definite togetherness about the club, I believe NC got exactly the kind of commitment he needed to put Saints into the top of the top League, it may take a few seasons, but Saints are not only here to stay in the PL, but will be pushing for top four in three seasons? LIVE THE DREAM! By the way...Pompey a good local community team, soon to be in the local league! " How must it feel to be Pompey....how must it feel to be poor?" Even Bright and Bourne are now two leagues above them! The Shame!
