Did you read how his 'pal' can't be expected to live on £1400 per week (after a 30% wage reduction)... my god. Interesting chat on TalkSport. Simon Jordan saying the likes of Liverpool etc doing what they are doing is to force the players to take a pay cut - leverage (in the top flight anyway) as the PFA were dead against. Now, they (the PFA) are having to buckle and embarrassing itself in the process.

unsure why people need to go to Richmond park to sunbathe or play the guitar, given the current climate. Which I have no doubt is replicated around the country. each to their own but scenes like this will mean 'you and me' will be properly locked down!
-
exercise is obviously important. It is scenes like this that will ruin it for the vast majority!

been the case for some time in France. You venture out at the wrong time of day and/or without the right documentation and you risk a scrap with their Army. Spain have been on a much more strict lockdown for some time and look at the state of them. Sweden on the other hand, have kept everything as normal as possible. Impossible to know what the right approach is, I guess.

how did it go?

Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.
Batman replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
I think as long as the Labour party does not eat itself as it returns to normal, this chap has the best possible chance of being PM. -
You seem a right drip

I think people would be banging on at Hugh Grant or Alan Partridge if he/they put the livelihood of their minimum wage entourage at the behest of you and me.....

You didnt watch the presser, did you. That's fine.

All over social media, the (football) wagons are circling after the point made by Hancock yesterday. He was asked specifically about premier League footballer and have an honest answer, in line with an honest presser. Ex players and football journos are livid!

What was the fixture, score and goal scorer(s) in Sky's first ever Premier League Monday night live game?

if you have those symptoms that warrant a test (for example), you aint waltzing back into the ward with your scrubs on, regardless of a negative result.

A view from Germany.. https://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/corona-challenge-germany-reaching-the-upper-limit-of-testing-capacity-a-4d75e7bd-dd0e-41e3-9f09-eb4364c43f2e

be interesting to see - at the same point of a season - where a predicted spreadsheet would have had us finishing the other year, when Hughes kept us up?

not if you are caring for very sick people.....
-
sorry, i was kind of agreeing with you...poorly
-
if you have a cough and do not need any assistance/show mild symptoms, and have been practising social distancing. why do you need a test? NHS staff, working from ICU backwards, yes but even then, they could test negative/not having it and pick it up an hour later after getting the result and go on a killing spree!!
-
Not necessarily the case in many health care fields. If you show the symptoms but don't have COVID19, good chance you will need to stay away from severely sick patients anyway. Obviously, not necessarily for the 7-14 days.

I think the Premier League (Clubs and Players) have acted appallingly through this. Always championing their own 'community' causes and all that. Look at the state of Spurs, Newcastle and now Bournemouth! Thing is, at worst (for the clubs), some fans will be mortified and give them hell for a short while (along with a very very small section of the media) and at best, fans will be angry now but quickly forget the moment their club goes on a good run. I see the PFA are blocking any pay cut (so far). To be honest, I am absolutely staggered by this, from the Premier League clubs and players anyway. Even our own club, have done nothing (publicly) but we get to read what Alex McCarthy is doing on his days off....and I suspect some fans are lapping it up......my god Look at this.. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/mar/29/police-investigate-after-jack-grealish-pictured-at-traffic-incident Villa fans sticking up for their bloke on villatalk message board.
