  1. It would have to be a PL team as any team which has been relegated or spent a season or more in a league other than the PL will have more wins than us. So you would be looking at a team that has never had a good season in the past 5, so that discounts. Newcastle, West Ham and Brighton. Palace would have to be the only team with only slightly more wins than us in all of the 92 league clubs.
  2. We must be rock bottom by a mile. Teams may get a few less PL wins than us and get relegated but 15th place in the Championship last season got 16 wins so given we are the only PL team which always survives but has never been decent the past 5 years we must have had less wins to cheer than any other set of fans. I guess the only one who could be close is Palace.
  3. Can there be a team in all of professional football in England who has won fewer games of football than us over the past 5 years?
  4. Are they bigger than Hotstepper?
  5. The only players we are likely to attract are ones from L1 hoping to take the step up and play for us in the Championship next season.

  7. Fulham got Leno as they have the aim of improving the team on the pitch. We got Bazunu as we have the aim of improving the bank balance in 2 years' time. *spolier: this never actually works, in two years time we tend to be paying the wages of these great prospects while they play on loan for other teams around the globe.
  8. If you're going to be a shit footballer do it in a colourful way and be a wacky character.
  9. The one used from 73-92.
  10. Eh? Spurs did exactly that and stopped it happening. F'kin pointless protesting after it's happened! That's the same as you protesting to the council after they've come and bulldozed your house.
  11. Spurs fans were vocal enough that their board didn't appoint Gatusso...

  13. You packed your bags as I recall And you walked slowly down the hall You said you had to get away to ease your mind And all you needed was a just little of time Oh winter's passed, spring and fall You never wrote me, you never called Nathan Jones you've been gone too long Gone too long If a woman could die of tears Nathan Jones, well, I wouldn't be here The key that you're holding won't fit my door And there's no room in my heart for you no more 'Cause, winter's passed, spring and fall You never wrote me, you never called Nathan Jones you've been gone too long Gone too long Nathan Jones, Nathan Jones Nathan Jones, ooh Winter's passed, spring and fall You never wrote me, you never called Nathan Jones you've been gone too long Gone too long Nathan Jones you've been gone too long Gone too long Nathan Jones you've been gone too long Gone too long Nathan jones you've been gonne too long Gone too long
  14. Can't believe he's still in his early 50s. He looks about 70. Becoming a nutter must add years to you.
  15. It needs to be replaced with CSS. (common sense system).
  16. No issue with away fans sitting in the home end if they are quiet. I attend matches with friends in the home end when we're playing away and I take them to SMS.
  17. Shane Long tribute act?
  18. I was in the Kingsland in the block next to the media area. 5 or 6 Gooners jumped up after they scored. There was a bloke a few rows in front of me with his missus who then disappeared for about 10 mins which I thought was odd but about 30 secs after he returned the stewards turned up. They identified one of them and removed him and then came back later, assume they were looking at cctv?, and removed another 5 or 6 inc a girl. I assume he was grassing them up lol!
  19. I'm taking my two golfing mates who are Arsenal fans. Sorry.
  20. Thought Griffit and Folly would be our Viera and Henry. Folly literally ended up working behind the tills at JJB Sports Meadowhall in Sheffield.
  21. He should have been sacked anyway for deciding the way to improve a very poor PL squad was to sign a load of kids rather than 2-3 experienced PL players, esp a striker, who could improve us on the pitch from day 1. Doing this is that will cost us a very likely relegation.
  22. Or he's just jumping ahead a bit and already viewing us as a Championship club.
  23. "Super Cute"? Are you 15? I'm not sure if a manager whose level was L1 could ever be described as being very good...
  24. Tenuous. If you are just talking about the once every 4 year competition then you have to say Zidane was also a runner up as well as, after all, runner's ups is all Nige really has in his trophy cabinet.
