Not when it's against everything that's got a thing to do with them - I consider hatred a strong word. Indeed, though it could mean a rather tedious wait until August if there's no rumours flying about. Remember that not all players will be available for transfer right at the start as some have contract negotiations that go well into the summer so I'd hope we at least have our eyes open in case a bargain crops up.

Newcastle did overachieve last season but to be fair they're an awful lot better than their league position suggests now. They don't have a big enough squad to compete in Europe even if you ignore the amazing string of crippling injuries throughout the team

If I had to put money on it I'd say he'll go to Chelsea next summer but you honestly never know with this club. He's not going to leave because of this perceived 'power struggle' though, that's for sure

What a day. Incredible stadium which is miles ahead of the new Wembley in terms of atmosphere. I was right behind the goal that Arsenal scored in, saw all the horrible little ricochets and felt the impending doom as it fell to Pires. And I must say it was a pleasure to watch that Arsenal team at its peak as well, I honestly don't think we'll see a team play at that level for at least another year or two in the PL.

What's the problem with the Cortese chant? It's not great but then not many of our chants are. Already sick of the Whittingham chant after two games Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, everything is kept very well under wraps usually.

Kelvin and Lallana are the only standout ones to me. Hooiveld's not a bad shout. These things surprise you sometimes though!
