Pochettino's got a serious issue with the cups. His lack of motivation to go and win them clearly bleeds through to the team, which is incredible when a trophy win could help them keep players.

Another wobbly second half but we defended well when it came to it and McCarthy had a great game. I'd rather play away than at home at the moment. Hoedt needs to get these mistakes out of his game.

I'm talking about teams in past seasons, Sunderland sides who didn't track back etc. There's no one as bad as that in the league right now, dull as the football may be.

I sense they care. We've really lacked belief and energy at times, especially the games you mention, but teams that don't care are much worse than us.
