A bit like us then! The distinction is that Liverpool have earnt that money and success through their support and sporting endeavour over decades. They haven't been given it by a repressive Middle Eastern regime that wants to whitewash its reputation by being associated with a good football team.

I'm surprised how many people have wanted Gabbiadini starting over the last year, he's shown next to nothing since Puel. I'm no big Austin fan but he's a really useful bench player, and I think Gabbi's got enough admirers in Italy that we could get a decent fee for him.

One advantage we'll have is that Emery likes to adapt to the opposition but no one besides Ralph really knows how we're going to play or even any of the starting XI besides a couple. Looking at his previous clubs will only get you so far.
