I've never understood why they make the scouts film the promotional videos.

I'm really glad the transfer window closes before the season. We'll have to sell before we can buy this year, so everything's going to be pushed deeper into the window. I hate thinking of the atmosphere at the first home game if we've sold players and not yet brought many in to get excited about.

They spent £65m last summer! That's a decent wedge and more than quite a few teams including us.

We don't know enough about the sponsor or the ownership to make an ethical judgment. The only one we can make is that it's murky. I've been thinking about this a lot recently because so many fans (especially ours) have celebrated Man City winning the league over Liverpool. Cheating and sport as reputation laundering matter way more than shirt sponsors.

Yeah, it was odd. They dominated the ball and kept going at us until it was 3-1, but couldn't carve out a chance and had those mad defensive lapses which ended up in the MOTD clips. I guess they had a better midfield but nothing else.

Wolves are weird. The better team for most of that game but totally complacent at key moments either end. It helped that Bednarek and Yoshida were bang on it (as was Vestegaard bar a couple of shakey moments). But Hojbjerg's got to be man of the match. His positivity made the first goal.

Agreed. Liverpool might be annoying but at least they've earnt their success. If you were upset by them breaking the rules to speak to Van Dijk, what Man City are alleged to have done blows it out of the water.

Would be harsh for Romeu to lose his place. We know what Lemina is capable of but I'm not sure I'd risk breaking up what's become a decent midfield, particularly by removing its best defender.
