Osvaldo looks far more likely to score at the moment. SRL is a legend but going on his recent saints form he should be dropped imo. We looked back to our best with an extra man in midfield, would like to see one of Davis or Gaston play instead of him against Palace.

Goals win games, defences win championships etc . We can build on a solid foundation this season ( a strong defence and a solid start) rather than playing catch up for the whole season. I'm a little disappointed with the start but 5 points is a good return. We took 4 points from the 8 games with Norwich, WBA, Sunderland and WH last season, and we've already beaten that this.

Still a long way to go. I think he needs to realise he has to be on the top of his game week in week out in the Prem unlike the SPL. As for his passing, Morgans wasn't a muchbetter yesterday due to that fact there was no decent options in front him as lallana wasn't dropping deep and there was no Davis/JWP/Ramirez to help link the play. Still early days yet and he is a young player. He would probably be better suited to away games where we don't dominate possesion, Liverpool would be a good test.

Fonte seems to have really upped his game alongside Lovren. I think he's been excellent so far, but its still early days...

Whats Lambert's scoring record if you count the last 10 games or so of last season as well? I can only think of goals against WBA (a) and Stoke (h). we look disjointed with 2 up front, I also think that Osvaldo showed glimpses of real class today. defensively we have improved greatly from this time last season , Lovren looks a steal at £8m. Took us 15(?) games to get a clean sheat last season, have 2 already. Time to perhaps start with only one of RL or DO, Dani looked a real threat in the 2nd half. Jrod offers us something different but is so frustrating.

To me it sounds like an evolution from Humbug (an album I really enjoyed) so that could be the reason I am enjoying it so far. Not really a big fan of the singles in all honesty ,some of the album tracks are stronger than the singles, especially Arabella, Snap out of it and Knee Socks which are my favourites so far. There is a bit of unnecessary filler such as I want it all which makes the album drag abit though. Its not the 10/10 that the NME gave it, but its another very good album. Delighted with our business, especially to get it all done comfortably before the end of the window. The spine of the team has been greatly improved ( in terms of first XI and squad) and we've kept our most prized assets (so far!). Little surprised at Puncheons exit as he offers us something different and we haven't replaced that unless Isgrove is expected to take his place, have only heard good things about him.

Well im putting our current record signing ahead of Lambert for the role of lone striker as I think he will fit our current tactics alot better. I also dont think think Lambert will be that good in the No10 role, he has the vision and touch but is not mobile enough for me there. As for Lallana on another day I would probably put him in the front 4 ahead of Ramirez as i rank him them both very closely , both excellent one game and invisible the next. Both really need to step up this season and I think they will.

Yes please, a front four of Ramirez , j rod , Osvaldo , Moses would be excellent and great to watch. We would be so much more threatening with that lineup.
