**** me baz now you are arguing with yourself. Is it post no.1436 or 1442 you want to go with. Or, and I know this might be a controversial statement, are you just arguing with people for the sake of it...
-
No it's not Baz as you've rightly pointed out numerous times yourself today. It's about us not competing in several areas that would raise the players prestige and ego, as well as wallet. Also location might play a factor as might language barriers.
-
Good post mate I agree, nice to hear some truth and would still be happy to have him here even if we're his last option. We've got to get a few in the hard way before we can compete comfortably against others for more of these 20mil signings.

C'mon Dalek don't be a ****, give Bearsy back his account, he was trying to be nice.

Mostly true to be fair mate.

Barry are you following me, this is starting to get a little bit awkward now. more seriously, this thread needs to be left to die, was fun sparring Baz, till the next time you rascally old grouch. Jeff, if you don't want people to label you as a troll don't post **** threads worded to purposefully cause maximum arguments and stiffen the other Wum's pants. You may have a point, you may not, it's the delivery that ****ed people off. Nuff said. -
Yeah nobody thought it was gonna be a walk in the park pumpkin , but there's a lot to be said for trying. Here's some quotes for you to pin on your wall to make you less grumpy: (P.S. Baz come join us up here, i'll even move seat. Up here the season looks quite exciting; we've signed two quality players, our academy is flourishing, the media are starting to soften up and give us more coverage, we've got a chairman who knows what running a club is about and is starting to give us more insights, best English striker across 92 teams, one of the best goal scoring teams in the Prem now with a years defensive experience, set of good results in pre season and promising hints of what's to come, pompey on their arses dying an embarassing death. Dunno what it looks like from down there with you, don't much care, company is **** too. No, that's brilliant. -
I really want to see Mayuka come good, but being honest, on what I have seen so far I don't think he has the positional nous to make it in this league. Shame but was a good risk to take on him as he came so highly rated after the African tourney. Loan him to Wigan or other passing footie team is a good shout, then we have the option of having him back if he can figure his game out and regularly get amongst the goals.
-
Sod it I was looking forward to this one. Think it's a bit short sighted and arrogant by Damiao and his agent to write us off in the way they have. We clearly value him more than anyone else currently does and he just slammed the door in our face.

fair enough, i'm actually starting to find it quite amusing... admittedly it's in the same way i find people with rat tails and dodgy mullets amusing. There's an element of pity and incredulity that naturally gets in the way of the pointing and laughing. -

If you really think that the backroom staff are sitting on their arses doing nothing (the inactivity of which you mention!) then you are sadly out of touch ! I live in hope that one day Roy might turn round and give Rickie a chance and refuel my interest in England team. Will it happen... doubt it. Should it happen... tough call.

Cmon Dalek you attention seeking loon, there's already enough threads about this. Bore off.

seems sensible, I honestly didn't think when we first got taken over back in league 1 that we would make prem in 5 years, so i'm giving their journalist sound byte benefit of the doubt. To be fair, you dont motivate a team by telling the lads we are aiming for mid table mediocrity. Chances are if the players believe champions league is the target then they will up their game and might have more faith in themselves, and get somewhere slightly higher than last season. Although if many of our first team read this forum and the judgements on their abiities then we might find them swinging from the Itchen bridge come match day. -

**** me that's nearly a bingo ! I reckon Turkish might deserve a spot, although strangely absent at the moment from this thread. I reckon some of the notorious trolls on here have two accounts anyway, so they have another 'person' to back up their tiresome and argumentative stances. And yes I 100% believe these posters are that sad. Bit harsh on Jeff mind, he must have proper ****ed you off recently. -

This. Great job and I think nail on the head. Basically I reckon people who can't see the logic and agree with all the statements of this post aren't necessarily delusional, but more likely JCL's, skates or trolls.
