At 17:00 on Jan 1st 2008 we were 15th with 33 points from 26 games, 5 home wins and 3 home draws; on 12th Jan 2008 we were 13th with 36 points from 27 games with 6 home wins, and a total of 36 goals scored and 44 conceded. Burley out !!! To put this in some context, this was the middle of a run of form from 15 December to 19 Feb ( when NP was appointed ) that saw us play 12 matches and take 8 points, winning only once ( S****horpe @ SMS ), scoring 11 and conceding 19. After NP took charge, we drew the next 4 games then beat Leicester @ SMS, ( discounting the Plymouth match on 19th Feb ).

The point about 'stealing' land is two-fold; firstly the 'state' of Israel is an artificial creation, imposed upon the region in 1947. The truth lies somewhere in between.

Completely outplayed by a team that didn't have to try. Having watched the Gillingham v Villa match, and looking at some of yesterday's results, why were we so lacklustre ? And I don't think for a minute the result would have been any different had we kept 11 players on the pitch, United simply did everything they had to and were always in control. Only positive is that it was not anywhere near as bad as Bristol Rovers last season.
