  1. Prefer Bohinj myself, the mountains are higher !
  2. TBH, if you post any sort of thread in TMS, you have a fair chance that the first two responses will be from S13 and RH; the former is a seriously 'one trick pony', who can only communicate in words of less than 5 letters, whilst the latter will agree with anybody who he thinks is being provocative by using the 'c' word, ( it's an alternative to having to be clever by your own means ). As far as I can work out, S13's answer to my request for people to give me positive ideas is that he 'cant' - that's on the basis that cint, and cont aren't in the dictionary.
  3. Isn't this what they did to Leeds though ?
  4. I don't think they can deduct points because we are challenging them, but I can see them witholding the 'golden share' that allows us to play in their sand-pit. I think the additional deductions would come in from financial irregularities or non-fulfillment of fixtures.
  5. Lightweight midfield, no width, players on the wrong side of the pitch, no motivation, tactical naivity, can't defend set pieces, can't get shots on target..... Ideal for League 1, NOT !
  6. These are the same comments where he let slip 'it was arranged this way to avoid administration' ? VERY diplomatic ;-)
  7. 19C and Alpine on the same side........
  8. Don't p1ss on my parade, Arschloch
  9. The title says it all Come on, reasons why it should be a 'bon anniversairre' ?
  10. It can because Mawhinney is like Bernie Ecclestone with F1- he makes the rules up as he goes along.
  11. Lacuna Coil - Spellbound :supz:
  12. As asked on the main '10 point' thread : If SLH is solvent, as the FL state, why is it in administration ?
  13. If, as the FL imply, the holding company ( SLH ) is "solvent in it's own right", how can it have been placed in administration in the first place ? Surely the fact that the administrators have been brought in to manage the affairs of SLH, not the football club, and SLH's board have walked, would infer that the FL are taliking b0ll0x ? :smt102:smt102:smt102
  14. Preston, as far as I am concerned Saints won a 'home' game
  15. £437.92 better off - why will it not feel like that ?
  16. Is that despite qualifying for the 50p in the £ tax band ?
  17. Nightwish - Amaranth
  18. Does anybody think the home fans have had 'value for money' this season ? The relationship between fans and the club is COMMERCIAL, there is no compulsion, other than blind loyalty to the club, and as 'consumers' they have a free choice as to whether to attend or not. The reasons the club is in the mess it currently is are many and varied; yes the 'stay aways' affected the gate income, but Rupert came back because we were trading at a loss, - BEFORE they decided to stay away. We had p1ssed so much money away on cr4p transfers for grossly overpaid and underperforming players, paying off cr4p managers, and into a myriad other black holes. It is almost certain that administration would have followed relegation anyway, and the standard of "football" this season has always been heading in that direction, so all their attendance would have done is delay the inevitable.
  19. Which means they've gone down WITH the parachute payments.
  20. http://www.statto.com You can look back to specific days in any of the previous seasons. all the way back to 1892/93 :smt119
  21. How many away fans do they let in at Hillsborough ?
  22. Nearest matches for me are all over 50 miles . Oldham, Stockport, Crewe ( if they stop up ). Could do with Bury making the top three in League 2, and Rochdale winning the play-offs; mind you if Morecambe can sneak in they're only 16 miles away.
  23. That's the 'spine' of next season's team
  24. I'll trail along behind the landaus on Blackpool prom, and the donkeys on the beach, and bring some full buckets with me next week
