Great op. Shilton Wright instead of fonte Keegan in there. However, that is only on that team, if jrod or jwp weren't playing I would have different players in there, a la Armstrong, or Wallace, but they are the three I would choose to change that team. Good to get the old grey cells out instead of just reading the same old drivel. Love to put in Davies, too young afraid, feels wrong to leave out le tissier and case. What is wrong with the world?

because they are good quality and not just the ones we have to use! at last apart from AL, i don't really care who the other three are, i think we we will give them a really good run for their money. as i have said before, on other threads, this game does not worry ne, it is the next 3 in 6 days that will show us where we are. after then do we need to start looking at us as a realistically placed top 7-8 team.

sorry to bother you all, as it is not very interesting, but, does anyone know if there was a cover for the nintendo wii for fifa 14 for the saints, or was it only the xbox? goimg to get the game for the kids for christmas and thought if i could add on the cover it would be great, if not, hey ho!

Is this your own definition of popular?

i wrote an essay on that at school about the injustices in the world!

to be honest i don't really care who he puts out. i think he will get it right on the day. yes, know who i would prefer, but it will be at about 5 o'clock when we know the rights and wrongs, and maybe travesties of it. either way, i am not too worried about the result this weekend. for me, the biggest test is the first week in december. yes the next two games are arsenal and chelsea, but look beyond that. we will have a good week off from the arsenal game, win lose or draw, but then we have an extremely hard six day period of chelsea, villa then man city. that, to me, is going to be the real test. come through that, anywhere near the top 6 and then i think we can start getting a little bit exccited!

sadly, i don't see srl starting. al yes, jrod, possibly, but my gut says that srl will come on, and sadly, it will be after one of the other two have come off. hope of hopes, all three start, or at the very least get on the pitch together at the same time, if only for a great photo of the three of them together on the pitch. even better, they link up with each other and one, any of them, score. i know, dream on, but look how the season has gone so far, who knows?

my thoughts. can't believe he would really want to play for england, just a nice way of MP making noises to those over the channel. he seems so proud that all his players are getting call ups, it must be heart breaking that someone who is doing as well as morgan is not even getting anywhere near a mention. good on yer, mp, i say.

f uck he looks happy to have got that!

this is brilliant rudi. i have now idea why you have so much time on your hands to do this but, as you say, it is interesting to see how some people thought at the time. now if only some on here, no names obviously, would just give some of our current players a bit of slack to fulfill potential.

that's him, sorry.

i agree. can't see him leaving to anywhere down a league, and what would be the point in letting him go to another prem club for the small price we would get for him. he is more important to us than a valuation of money can give us, so we keep him here as an inspiration and influence to the others around him, and he just gets more and more southamptoned by the day. when his playing career finshes he is then used, dodd style to keep the next generation going. he seems to have a genuine love of the club that i don't think he would have if he went anywhere slse now. use it both ways. look at how he talks with pride about both al and jr being with him at england.

didn't he give us a bit of a run around at wigan last year, or am i thinking of someone else?

i know it's nice to look forward, but isn't the next few YEARS a bit too far? how do we know really who will come from the u18's in the next two? look at shaw, it isn't really beyond the realms to think that if he hadn't been given a chance he wouldn't be where he is now. that he is good enough is amazing, and well done to all involved, but our hopes should be that at least three youngsters come through, from wherever they play, by the end of next year. whatever happens, when our boys come through, then make an england squad, whatever level - still unreal feeling- the whole of the club gets an amazing buzz about it. hopefully no real feel to leave when we can achieve things here. yes of course, some will, we all know that, but keeping them coming through, then playing them is fantastic. my only real worry, and there is nothing i can do about it, because it is experience after all, is that one day we get our own goalkeeper. that would be something really special, and if he made it to the england no 1, that would cement the acadamy as the worlds foremost place to be.
