We ran out of steam well before they equalised. Up until then Rovers looked awful and had we used the width and delivered crosses from the byline and not the half way line we would have been talking about an easy win. Holmes has to start Saturday. Mellis and Lallana would be better as impact subs. We have played 10 games against the likes of Carlisle, Brentford, 10 men Colchester and now Bristol Rovers and you talk about how good they are ? Sorry but have to disagree, its about how poor we are.

On one occasion in the first half the ball went out 10 yards inside Rovers half, the rovers player eventually took it 10 yards into our half despite the appeals from the fans. Then in the second half Loyd James took a throwing and the ref stopped him and made him take it again a further 5 yards further forward. :confused: Similar thing happened when we had a free kick and made our player take it about 4ft away from where he was. Can someone clarify why Hammond got booked for diving in the first half ? Did he appeal for a penalty or just lose his footing ? As for the penalty in injury time, at first glance it looked like he was blatantly fouled. Perhaps we might see highlights on TV to show otherwise.

Every striker has a bad patch nick, but when they are on fire you put them in the team. Boyd had a good scoring record for Scotland also, but Burley decided to pee him off by dropping him. What Boyd did after that was a disgrace but he was dropped mysteriously in much the same way Rasiak was.

At the time he was dropped by Burley he was scoring for fun for Rangers. Almost as bad as the Venables/Hoddle, I wont pick Le Tiss for England episode. But Burley knows best, doesn't he Mr Rasiak.

You could have given Burley £50m to spend and he still would have set out for a play off place. Some would have still been happy with that, because he did as he said he would. Guy on the phone told me all corners were open yesterday and selling well, then again he was from Devon so might explain a lot.

I bought 4 season tickets yesterday and asked how many had sold. The guy I was speaking to had no idea as he was in a call centre in Devon. He did say that he knew the Ajax game was selling well and should be a sell out as they were now selling tickets in the 3 opened corners.

mmmm... makes sense. Then when he's announced as manager he will have his shopping list already sorted.
