When we were in the Championship, Harry Redknapps target was on a five game bases. Win 3 draw 1 and lose 1, in otherwords 2 points per game. Our last five league games have given us that return. Another win Saturday will help boost the attendance for the next home game and increase available funds.

Thought he looked good last season, but the few sub appearances I have seen this season have been dissapointing. He looks to have put on weight and seems half a yard slower, but I do think he can still become a good player.

With all these mega-bucks they must have, I'm surprised they haven't re-signed Sol Cambell, as he is a free agent now.

No they are not. Against teams like Man Utd , Leeds ect they had on paper superior players to us. This year, on paper we have one of the better teams for this league. Are you telling me that Swindon and Bristol Rovers have better players than us ? Saying that, I don't want Pardew sacked, but he no longer has any excuses. Its time he started delivering or else we without doubt will be fighting relegation on the last day again.

Which sums it up, more crosses and still little return. Had those crosses come from the goal line I bet they would have had a better return. James didn't once get to the goal line.

Width and pace. When they broke they did it with speed and purpose. But when we had a chance to break we were far to slow and clueless.

I'll back this up by saying we wont beat Gillingham either. We are nearly a quater of the way through the season and are still having difficulty in the final third. If things don't change soon our performances will start getting worse like they did last season. I've seen nothing yet that suggests things will get better.
