I would rather the players look at Nicks stats other than keep looking at our position in the league table. Which one would motivate the players most ? As you say Duncan, there is still a lot of work to be done but I'm sure every club and its fans are saying the same thing. Even Leeds nearly struggled to score against Orient last night, so they can't be that great.

The point you keep missing is that those people who thought Pearson was a good manager weren't judging him by statistics, they were judging him by the way he turned a team of pretty footballers who passed the ball to death without crossing the half way line, to a team that played with passion and purpose with more end product. He turned things around in just a mere13 games, albeit a bit late to adjust the statistics you so love. For me and many others, you could see his potential. Milan Mandaric did aswell. So I think you are fighting a lost cause on this one, because as statistics show, he is doing for Leicester what many of us felt he could have done for us.

I still believe the play off places are up for grabs, but we need a win tonight to give ourselves a chance. 3 v 2 to Saints, with a fit again Lambert being star man.

Perhaps it would have been better to say, lacked energy to put in the effort he normally does.

Lambert has been ill with flu which I didn't know about. Personally I think he has been our best player so far, but I don't see why I shouldn't question his total lack of effort that he has shown in the last two games without the knowledge of his illness. Its a good job we have these interenet forums where we can express views or ask questions, otherwise I would have kept to my original thought. Next question: Why play someone who is that ill ? Our options aren't brilliant I agree, but I would have rather see a fit and ready Papa Waigo play than watch us play with ten and half men.

I don't think so. The more of a reation there is the more likely that some one in FIFA will take action to try and prevent it happening again. It may even make players think twice before doing it again. Could happen to us next time.
