Funniest thing is, not one person has said they don't rate Shaw or that Fox is a great defender. Just most have questioned the OP about how he can state that he would be better as a premiership defender without anyone seeing him play against a prem team. Then all those questioning are either boyfriends, Fox lovers, playground bullies or sheep. Now were all pathetic because apparently we all wanted the lad to fail today.

In the match thread you will see I have included him to start. Wether he will be any better, I'm not sure, but I would like to see what he can do. The only time I've seem him play is the Anderlecht game. He looked sound enough, but to claim he will be good enough for the premiership yet is a bit naive. But as I say, I'd like to see him given a chance and now seems as good a time as any.

Players have a lot to answer for aswell. Lack of confidence affects your passing shooting ect, but not man marking and getting stuck in is in excusable.

Can anyone honestly see us turning this season around ? Performances are getting worse and worse. Basic marking tight and tackling seems a thing of the past. Sorry Nigel but things just aren't improving and don't look like improving.

in reply to Aura. Seen enough to form an opinion. Davis has had his time, but Gazza fills me with no confidence either, he's one for the future. But until Boruc is match fit I would pick Kelvin for this one.
