The people making the comparison between MLT and KD's loyalty to the club are morons. Le Tissier had top clubs after him throughout his time at Saints and was a hell of a lot more useful than Davis ever was. Sure, Davis dropped down a few leagues with us despite slight interest from other clubs. But, we were probably paying him more than we ever paid MLT even when we were in League One. Davis has had a cushy job as back-up 'keeper/dressing room joker for years now and should have had the decency to retire after our first season up in the Premier League when his lack of ability to perform at the top level shone through.

This still amuses me.

I support the team, not the player. I won't get on Wanyama's back, but I certainly won't be singing his name. Same as with Morgan.

What does JWP offer to the team? All I hear about is his set-pieces. It's all well and good being able to whip in a nice-looking corner/free-kick, but I can't recall him creating or scoring anything from a set piece. He's slow, lightweight and can be suspect defensively. I want the guy to succeed. I really do. But, he has shown me nothing to suggest he'll live up to the hype some hyperbolic Saints fans gave him. He's been a regular in our first team since 2012 and nothing has improved since then in my opinion.

Slating Davis for losing the ball and then praising JWP... No one in our team loses the ball or gets muscled off it more than JWP.

As an avid MLS follower, I am pretty confident in saying he will last a season tops.
