  1. RED & WHITE STRIPES, nothing else will do. The example posted by Sebastian Firefly will do perfectly.
  2. I couldn't agree more FF. I have no explanation to why a club safe from relegation, and very very unlikely to finish in the top 4, wouldn't go all out to get to Wembley and win something. Very, very disappointing.
  3. They are going bust because their fans are fookwits like this tosser. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/forum/101623/sfc-club-employee-slags-of-his-employer/#39
  4. It will be Red and White stripes thankfully. Katarina knows what it is to be a Saints fan.
  5. With respect, none of Corteses three managerial appointments were obscure or unknown. Mopo is well known it Spain, Adkins was everyones choice before he was appointed after his success at Scunny, and Pardew is/was a house hold name. So the basic tenor of you post is wrong.
  6. With respect you're missing the point. Clubs 'keep' players day in day out, but because they 'keep' them you don't here of it. Lowe kept players, Lowe sold players, Cortese kept players, Cortese sold players, so all you have to go on is Cortese's very well oiled PR machine to put the right spin on it. Delia Smith took Norwich to back-to-back promotions with a fraction of the resources, is she a visionary? Corteses' PR was impeccable and so many people bought it, I guess they wanted to believe a little too much. Getting into Champions league would take £150m each season every season so they say. We don't have that money, and the Liebherrs were never going to put that much in. So visionary or bull**ter? The youth policy, the fan base, the stadium were all in position before NC arrived and yet the impression he gave was it was all down to him! He as a Svengali character and we're a lot better off without him.
  7. It's not just the refusal to sell FFS book that cost the Liebherrs money, the constant settled court cases, the dodgy signings (£35m of Katarinas money wasted) etc etc. So she rightfully asks for proper governance and oversight, and NC bolts for the door !!!! It wasn't his money, it wasn't his club, but he never understood that. Much, much better off without him. Well done Katarina.
  8. It was only a matter of time before NC left, and to be honest I'm glad he's gone. He had no feeling for the club, the fans or our heritage. Looking forward to Katarina taking over.
  9. Good riddance. Thought he was bigger than the club when he was just an employee with a massive ego.
  10. If you want to know why the club are not stocking this excellent book go the the UI site. It's heartbreaking that the club I love is run by such weasels. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/forum/95736/why-saints-arent-selling-the-new-all-the-saints-book./#15
  11. I'm sending those positive vibes man.
  12. Ugly Inside can be fun but not for the faint hearted. The Ugly Inside spin off 'It's Beautiful Outside' can be interesting but a bit slow.
  13. When I read the title thread my instant reaction was the Adrian Heath '84 semi-final goal. Until that point we all thought destiny had decreed it was our year. A real gutter like no other.
  14. As a rule of thumb, a company is worth three to four times average annual profit, plus disposable assets.
