Anyone got a customer number with 2017/18 purchase history on it that they're not using for the United game in a couple of weeks? I'm finally going back to Southampton to see family and it happens to be the United game (yeah right I hear you say). I don't have an purchase history this season as I don't regularly attend. I know it makes the system pointless but if its not being used it'd be good to go. Tom

Given I don't get the chance to many games at all this is one of the only ways I get a chance to go to see my team. Will be singing as loud as the best of them...I might not even lower myself to a Lallana or Pompey reference...

What are people's experiences with delivery time by post? Not been away for a long time and managed to send it to my parents address.

this. There are tonnes of trains from Central, Parkway or Eastleigh (generally every 30 mins) which take just over an hour with no changes. Unfortunately then comes the rubbish bit, getting to Vauxhall and on the tube is quick but the extra bit North across London feels long. Unfortunately none of the trains that go through Clapham but onto Waterloo without changes stop at Vauxhall. Picking up a travel card for the day while you buy you're train ticket is a better option as the daily oyster cap always f**ks you over as there seems to be a separate cap for main line and tube.

What about "one touch and the balls under control, Give him half a chance and he'll stick it in the goal..."

Where did he say he's been to see...St Gorges Park? I must admit although he does seem very grounded, intellectual etc it does annoy me when the first thing they're interested in is joining a prem club. It's obviously enticing and clearly that's why lovren was here but really hope it doesn't happen again.

Without even reading this thread I was certain koeman said "with Marcos...with targett we have one but we are finding another one" good signs hopefully

Shaw tweets about bloody everything and Dejan has mentioned Rakitic today and his brother regularly. I don't know if I'm being a bit ridiculous but this manager is even on Twitter surely it's the best time to tweet. Or maybe they're long gone?
-
I can't see that this has been covered anywhere. I was immediately thinking with Dejan tweeting about Rakitic, and with many of the squad having social media profiles should we expect some reaction? There has been plenty in the past and the World Cup doesn't seem to stop them using twitter etc. So should we be expecting some reaction from Lovren/Shaw even the younger lads? If there isn't anything from the two mentioned particularly can we assume they actually are trying to move on?

What's that koeman over the hill is it a trophy, is it the champs league?
-
I reckon that probably means southampton want something sorted by the end of next week. I don't know why I think that...
-
Nah he means Timothee Kolodziejczak

Maybe so, but is it sustainable to buy Wanyama's, Osvaldo's and Ramirez's with the money earnt from one or two home grown players who give us the image we have and separate us from the rest of the Premier league. Lallana and Shaw have proven themselves invaluable in my opinion. Some may be luck, some is a fantastic youth set up and family spirit but i certainly think that I'd take the possible immediate financial hit and not waste more money on unknowns and plough everything into another top 8 finish.

Analysis: Katharina Liebherr's ascent to the Southampton helm
tomf05 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well researched, balanced and written. Good man! -
Must admit I found this a bit odd. However if Adam was actually upset by it as is reported then given his recent rise and recognitition , with the possibility that other clubs are bound to come sniffing I should think aside from any other objectives, the club may be simply trying to show him any support necessary so he isn't tempted by any potentially greener grass.

IMO I think we have a great team at the mo and out front line particularly is packed with players with a lot to prove. Some who we've seen do it and others who have yet to fully impress. Id be interested to see this Boruc Clyne Lovren Fonte Shaw Wanyama Schneiderlin Gaston JWP Osvaldo Lallana Options then to reshuffle JWP could fall back Steve Davis or 'impact sub' lambert are both players who arguably should start but can steady the ship into forward motion if the work rate of gaston doesn't quite give te first hour as expected. However I think with enough speed from the full backs and solidity in the centre we'd hold out ok to try it?
-
IMO there is such a selection dilemma in the centre mid/ number 10 spot. Gaston brings the creativity but lacks the commitment and often end result. Davis' performances speak for themselves, wanyama has undoubted ability and really tightens us up although has been a little off form last two games. Many would like to see Cork involved while surely Schneiderlin is selected as a solid backbone. While many leave JWP out because of all this yet I struggle to leave him Out of my 11 because there is simply no one else who seems capable of delivering a decent ball past the first man apart from Rickie who really ought to be on the end of it. So having said all that, I don't have a chosen line up and think MOPO has got a right issue on his hands.

From what I saw on sat it wasn't really a matter of speed it was a proper 50/50 race for the ball and a pretty late body check from the Sunderland lad.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland

What is most hilarious is the difference of views apparent which may well just be caused by the view from each seat, I must have watched a different game to a couple of people on here or maybe there are already just some scapegoats emerging! -

Also fonte literally dropped to the floor on a number a occasions particularly for the penalty appeal! What annoyed me most was that we had the ball in the net thru good work up the middle using lambert and then failed to try that same method again and spread it wide every single time instead. -

Both shaw and chambers I thought were impressive however it dd seem as if Luke was holdin back a bit! Hope he wasn't too injured after that horrendous tackle. Think chambers will be great given chance. Otherwise... Wanyama bossed first half, JWP was excellent in 2nd. Lallana was great, lots of flair an commitment! Ref was a cock. Couldn't believe the amount of chances we squandered against a team who did nothing whatsoever. -
What you mean like jos and fonte think the decision isn't a great one in all honesty but there must be a reason for it.

Adam Lallana on Talksport within the next hour. (3-4pm)

Rickie particularly and gaston love a head down or a cheeky dink over the top. This is gunna be incredible. -
Be fairly disappointed if true, I don't think there was any reason for him to fall out of favour as much as he did. When he came on he produced some great performances and injected a lot of much needed energy. He was never afraid to run directly at the opposition unlike others and more often than not got an end result unlike others such as Jrod (who I've always felt has struggled both physically and with confidence on his own on the wing or up top)

What choice of seating was available?
