I miss Billy. Absolutely crucial player in last year's run-in, will always be mad we loaned him out I think he would've scored a good few.
-
Was shocked to see two subs at half time, but Lallana's arrival and Ramirez's departure made total sense. Puncheon was playing well though, and Davis did little other than a few long shots over the bar or wide, so I didn't agree with that one, but overall it's good he had the balls to make the changes.

Absolute must win, no excuses.
-
We've got everything but the end product and the creativity. Get those, and then we'll be talking.
-
Draw would've been the most reflective result, United just obviously have the pedigree to hold onto the lead for the rest of the match. Great game to watch, made me proud to be a Saints fan and shows we blatantly deserve our place in the elite.

Don't know why we don't play Fox on the wing as cover, seems illogical to be taking Shaw out and putting Fox in when our cover on the left is nowhere near the quality of Shaw at LB. If it's true, of course. I'd play: Boruc; Clyne, Hooiveld, Yoshida, Shaw; Puncheon, Cork, Schneiderlin, Fox; Ramirez; Lambert.

Umm... Villa are a huge team.
-
Ha! Hilarious. Not the point. They're part of the fanbase, you don't lose your top and throw a tantrum.

god, this is old news.

nooooooope. brother = rumour.

I thought lashing out at his own fans was completely inexcusable, and frankly embarassing. We're lucky it wasn't completely blown up by the media. That said, he has been fantastic for us recently, and for that I applaud him and swallow the harsh words I uttered back then.

If QPR can get a point against City, no reason we can't get a point against United.
-
Pathetic, no reason why we can't wear white against a team with red shirts, who the **** cares what colour the shorts are, this country has gone mad! #sillyrantover
-
I hated him so much when he played **** and then kicked a bottle at our fans. He has almost redeemed himself though, he's done us a great service in between the sticks over the last couple of months, I hope he keeps playing well for the run-in.
-
That... is the most ridiculous nonsense I've ever heard.

Guys at the club point to our "world class youth system" (quoting from somewhere) as evidence that we can challenge the best, is this not a sustainable avenue to explore? All we have to do is stop selling our Bales, Walcotts and Shaws, right? (Not my views per se, just creating debate)

So we all know that big Nicola wants us to be top four, and that's all well and good and I applaud him for that because there's nothing worse than owners and managers who don't reach for the stars... but is this really something that we can think about reaching, really? What we've done, coming straight up to the elite from League One, is fantastic, but obviously the higher you get the more difficult it gets to reach the next stage, and the longer it will take with hard grafting to get there. We'll come 14th or 15th this season, 12th if we pull some amazing results off, and next season we can look to overtake the Stokes, Swanseas and West Broms of the league, but after that you're in Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs territory, the real big juggernauts. Obviously I'd love if we pushed for a Champions League place on a regular basis, but really is this something we can realistically see happening? I just can't see any way we could breach the United-City-Chelsea-other wall...

Villa will probably lose, but obviously a draw would be ideal. Goalless. City to destroy QPR, please, but both sides to pick up a few key injuries/suspensions in time for us. Stoke please. Swansea please, I want Sunderland back fighting against relegation.
-
Cool... great to hear he's worth the fuss! Really want him to be good, get a chance to prove himself, and play well... for some reason I'm not so ruthless with him as I am with other imports.
-
Has he been playing well in the ACN?
-
He was a decent player. Served us well. Can't complain.
-
Definitely a Championship player, although before Shaw came in he wasn't awful. Deserves more time on the pitch though, and Wolves are a big-ish club worthy of him. Good luck to him, and thanks for the time.
