  1. Rowe is absolute class. Impressed with Forren so far too, although he'll get nowhere near this many chances in the PL.
  2. I bloody knew he was going to score tonight. Wtf are the commentators on? Of course he meant to score!
  3. He almost scored!
  4. Seidi and Rowe looking good. Targett too.
  5. What annoys me the most is how, yes we're playing a high-pressing game, but there's no reason why the defenders (or at least one CB) can't stay back and act as a final line of defence! Too often we see Fonte and Yoshida pressing high up with the rest of the team, not providing a whole lot and just leaving a massive gap for a quick player like Remy to run into and score. I understand that it's good to press up high, but why not leave a gap between the midfield and a couple of defenders, instead of just the goalkeeper and the rest of the team? It's like they think that every single high-pressing attack they make will result in a goal, so we don't need to defend, but as a relegation-threatened club this just is not the case; we NEED that final line of defence, please!
  6. Forren should've been introduced into the team by now and this would be a good option. Unfortunately that's not the case, so we can't rely on him to be good enough. I would prefer to put Yoshi at LB and bring Hooiveld back in, he's been alright recently; Frazer Richardson is also off the pace for me.
  7. Luke Shaw, if he stays with us for the rest of his career, will be Southampton's greatest ever left-back. If he goes somewhere else, he will be one of their greatest ever left-backs. If he's given the opportunity for England from an early age, he will be one of our best as well. Honestly, I think he will be amazing. Unless he's injury prone.
  8. Interchangeable play between Lallana, Rodriguez and Lambert on the left side, give the guys free roles to move about and pick the ball up wherever they may be. Lambert is a fantastic assistant as well as a natural goalscorer, and that's become more and more apparent in the Premier League.
  9. ffs
  10. Not sure myself, but there will definitely be shouts for it if we continue playing like we have.
  11. Schneiderlin for captain IMO. Or Fonte when fit.
  12. U21s I think they mean.
  13. What I said was 100% true: Gastón Ramírez was signed on August 31st. Regardless of how long the negotiations took place, he was signed on deadline day.
  14. This. And also, Ramirez was signed on deadline day, by which time key positional players Clyne, Yoshida and Davis had come.

    Saints 2 - 0 Saints, init.
  16. Yes, but this guy is not, hence my post.
  17. Di Matteo's a great manager, no reason why we wouldn't welcome him.
  18. #trollolol
  19. I mean... even Yoshida or Clyne is better at LB, with Hooiveld at CB or Richardson at RB respectively, than having Fox in the team, surely? Although then it leaves us weaker in the centre, as Yoshi has been brilliant, and I guess that's more important.
  20. I don't think he plays well in the centre; I like him on the right. When he was moved over to that side against Newcastle, he almost instantly set up Lambert's goal beautifully.
  21. It's gonna be a horrible game I think. Welcome to the next torrid part of our season.
  22. Either way, it's not the ****ing transfer window anyway, so it makes no difference. We've got to make do.
  23. Oh, really? I don't think anyone has noticed. And he has been in the squad, just not made an appearance. Think we've established it was a pointless signing.
  24. No. Lallana is a class act when played in the correct position. He should be a legend in years to come.
