Saints failed to gamble on getting back into the Prem in the first season (Fuller £90k) which was what the problem was IMO. Handing £7 Mil to the drunken scumbag Burley a year too late was also part of the problem and paying too high wages for journeymen cr*p.

Saints have so often failed to break down defences this season and Brain Laws knows it. Why risk going forward?

Ditto. He put in some really dangerous crosses that should have been better used if the strikers were more alert. Euell was unlucky not to score when he did get ahead of his man and put it just over the bar. Whereas Lallana balooned a couple over the area into no-man's land.
