  1. Luca Toni is available in January from Bayern Munich, could be back up for Lambert ;-)
  2. Wotton on....hmm!
  3. Another source closer to sky blue home... http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=473311
  4. Cool. More tasty WAGS down at SMS then!
  5. Cant see that. Trottman will come back in at centre back and maybe Thomas at RB to give LJ a rest. Can see Hammond in the middle rather than Wootton and maybe Lambo gets a rest on the bench and Patterson starts with Connelly.
  6. Saints first always. Aldershot are my second team being an Alton boy originally. Anyone else have a second team?
  7. Cant see the point of getting rid of an experienced left winger like Holmes who has proved he has the skills at this level and above before he got injured. Give him some more time yet. I think he will come good again.
  8. Hammond or Jaidi.....or Lambert....or Trottman.....or Connelly....or Papa. How long is it since we can say that we have made that many good signings in two months?
  9. Let's not get carried away. Ince will have them spiced up for a match at SMS (even though their ground could be better than ours if they fill in the top tier) so we should be wary of a run of results. Take one match at a time and pick the fit players IMO.
  10. Hope we can ditch the no-talent soon!
  11. Ditto
  12. Yessss We're gonna walk it.
  13. Ta John. From the academy or recent addition?
  14. Anyone know who Garyn Preen is on the bench?
  15. Certainly looks good at RB at the moment (OK when he hasn't got a knock) and he'll be back for Saturday.
  16. Mid-table mediocrity...bring it on!
  17. A combo with an older head with some touch and vision, i.e. Hammond (not Wotton), can only help to improve him. Gillett off the bench as support.
  18. I'd stick James on the subs bench or send him out to another team. IMO Thomas looked very comfortable (and impressive even) at RB in the first 1/2 and gave us a lot of attacking options with Mellis ahead. This all but disappeared when Thomas went to CB and James to RB.
  19. I saw a fit looking bird on a horse. Does that count?
  20. Oh brother.....
  21. The Directors box did look a bit sparse yesterday for the first game of the season. Must be the new regime where they have to pay for their tickets. Good to get rid of the freeloaders like Wiseman, etc.
  22. I managed to get a pie at half time.
  23. Totally agree that James had a good season there and grew a lot in stature and confidence. Is James a midfielder or RB or just a plug when we have a problem? I saw him more a a maturing midfielder but, hey-ho, that just my take.
  24. IN More cup matches OUT Fielding understrength teams for them
  25. The only hope is that he stays fit for the season as we have precious little cover for him in that position if Lloyd James is to move to midfield. Still a welcome addition of an old head with positional sense in this league.
