I couldn't agree with you more. Just think where we were 6 months ago....facing extinction. We have come a long way in that we feel like we will win every game and that we have actualy been able to go out and buy the best available players for this league (who want to play for us) and not limp along with kids and journeymen who just want a last paycheck. Football is all about ups and downs and accepting that nothing is certain in terms of results. The fact is that we get just as many disappointments than as in the past but at least they are draws and not being stuffed 4-0 away! At the start of the season no-one thought we could go up and it has possibly proven to be a correct assumption. A brief flirtation with the play-offs before Xmas when the team was settled but we were up against teams we could beat. Now we have an unsettled team (albeit with new/better players) for the next few games so we could question the wisdom about so many changes at once. This is not rocket science, but the longer term investment might give us the returns this season if we are extremely lucky but for sure next season. Which is where most of us started out at the start of the season.

Where is GeckoSaint when you need him for a mock-up?

If we go up next season as champions I could see us going straight through to the Prem in one season, maybe automatic. Not a good scenario as we would then struggle in the Prem and even do a Baggies bounce. So... 2010 L1 8th 2011 L1 champs up 2012 CC 2nd auto up 2013 Prem 18th down 2014 CC Champs up 2015 to 20..... Prem top 10
