Name a summer transfer window where no Saints player has departed? Of course we will lose players, how many and how much we can get is the key, along with retaining some continuity if at all possible and keeping the core as strong as possible. We wont be this strong next year thats for sure.

When Chile played England he did ok and this season he has also been ok? He is a DM not Eric Cantona, if you want to see a limited footballer look no further than Wanyama.

Its the best identity we have concerning the Saints, ironically it wa designed in an era not used to being so identity aware, we could learn a lot as since we have lost ours as opposed to enhancing it. The badge should say something about the area and the City, it does, I love the Saint man.

No we sign Osvaldo who belts one of our own, has a scoring record similar to the said two and is now on loan, we can not claim any high ground on this, I dont believe we are going to have a lot to spend so I think a punt is worth it on RVW as Norwich fans have said he is an instinctive striker who relies on balls to his feet, he has not had that supply, others in the Norwich team have also been played out of position so that has not helped.

Lets be honest our options our weak and the purchases of previous years in that dept have been questionable, if we can get them at cheap price why not, we have to shop for a striker dont we and I'm not positive we have a lot of money and Gallagher plainly needs more time to develop.

RVW has been poorly supplied this year, look at his record elsewhere, Hooper is a great little player.

No joking I would get Gary Hooper and RVW on the cheap, then I would get an out and out winger, creating chances and putting them away is an issue for us.

But that has always been the way Mourinho has set his stall out, is it for us? Not too sure of that.

I feel we marginally gain from having him, what we get in him stopping play and closing down others we lose in poor flat passing and attacking guile, I still prefer Cork in to him but a good squad player for me.

Stoke managed it as have others, its not ideal for them but I am jealous, they are having European nights we are not.

He played for Liverpool in the late 80's when they arguably had their strongest ever side, he is not that bad a player.
