  1. Squad player and useful backup for a good Premiership outfit, if we want to aim for mid table as a minimum in years to come he would only be on the margins of the team not in the 1st team at all unless injury or as an impact substitution.
  2. Proud so proud, my prediction so wrong again and so happy for it to be, that 2nd half performance was brilliant, lucky a tad but we deserved that kuch, Ramirez was excellent for the 2nd goal and what a strike by puncheon.
  3. Little club latching onto something they dont have, they really are a bunch of little pensioners who should be pitied.
  4. Exactly where was he evading injury there? He fell forwards and and in no way tried to move his ankle from the "possible injury zone" , a footballer getting nicked on the ankle, whatever next........ That a soft penalty and I hate to see any player do that 1) refs will now think of him as a diver or someone who goes down easy 2) I hope we dont get any against us like that but the reactions in here will be interesting.
  5. In theory, I have already likened this to that film the minority report.
  6. He could reach the player but not ball? He could not reach either.
  7. How was he avoiding injury when the defenders leg was fully extended? That dive was to gain an unfair advantage. The reactions if this were the other way would be the opposite to this.
  8. No it was not, the referee was conned, whatever people say they are masking that fact. Rule 12 also covers simulation, would the referee who has now seen it give that again?
  9. In the Liverpool store they have a lifesize Fallout 3 figure, I wonder if they are flogging that off cheap? Seriously, its bad for the highstreet but what can they do? Lower their prices is not that simple as who pays the wages and rent? Force Amazon to pay relevant taxes and base all online retailers away from tax havens would make it a bit fairer but sadly the high street in its current guise will be like trying to save lonesome George the tortoise.
  10. As long as Murdoch's sun dies out I dont really care.
  11. Of course I accept others have different opinions to mine and actually enjoy debating the conflicting points.
  12. Fellow fans deflect with other instances that bare no relevance to what happened on Saturday, who cares that Lambert did it, this is a case of Rodriguez being opportunistic and successfully cheating the ref, getting out of the way of a tackle in these circumstances is the new phenomemon/excuse when people have been awarded penalties in these situations, no fan of football can condone this as its cheating and ****ing sly to be honest.
  13. I hope to Christ it does not happen to us but if it did I would love to see your responce.
  14. So you are sticking to the theory of he avoided a possible injury by diving to the floor which mirrors/looks like he has been fouled/tripped in the penalty area, good hunch that, I wonder if you use that hunch for all players and all situations...........................
  15. By falling over like you have been shot? Opportunistic and also cheating, deception I think its called, he was seen stating he didn't dive, so he avoided possible injury? Is that normal behaviour for someone trying to evade injury?
  16. I'm sorry that was not marginal, that was falling to the ground, do you avoid injury like that?
  17. Where did he avoid injury? The defenders leg was fully extended.
  18. Kenny G and Agatha Christie?
  19. Trust me I am so happy to be completely wrrong.
  20. Is that assessment wrong though?
  21. What am I thinking now?
  22. Possibly a reference to the book?
  23. Thats true, but Mata has no relevance in this as it was a different game, we are discussing whether what Rodriguez did was warranted, diving, fallling over is not accepted usually as an accepted method of preemptive action against possible injury is it? It is usually used to gain an unfair advantage into being awarded a free kick or penalty, what seems more likely after seeing the evidence and where this incident took place?
  24. So therefore a penalty is given? His reaction to a potential injury is staggering as well, flailing arms and then saying to opposition players I didn't dive is one hell of a preemptive reaction to a possible tackle................................
