Been to 8 away games this year. Best for me were Man United (amazing goal celebration at the end), Fulham (great 2nd half & 3 clinically taken goals) & West Brom (Rickie's winner capping the week of his life!). Worst was Sunderland (FA Cup), Arsenal & Stoke.

I'm in P1, which I was told over the phone is also in the 'neutral' section. Apparently according to a mate the whole end is unsegregated, both in the seating and also when out on the concourse?

Lallana will start for sure I reckon. Lambert & J-Rod on the bench.

Well yeah, but I think even the most ardent Saints fan would agree that it probably won't look like this at the end of the season.

Couldn't help feeling yesterday that United are very average apart from Rooney & RVP. Where would Saints and United sit in the league if we had those two and they had Lambert and Osvaldo? I'd say we'd be in the Top 4 and they'd be mid table.

Of the aways I've been to I'd say: Worst - Everton, Liverpool & West Brom Best - 2nd half of United & Wigan.

Just bought cheap train tickets from up north, so desperately hoping the kick-off time stays at 3pm and I manage to get a ticket! Apparently the away club is allocated 2000 tickets, which judging by recent away trips we should easily sell.

There's no way that Nigel will field his strongest team tomorrow. We've had a busy Christmas programme with most of our players having played every game and have a massive game next week against Villa. Despite having a week to rest he will see it as an opportunity to give the likes of Lambert, Puncheon, Fonte etc a rest at a crucial stage of the season. I think we'll see Hooiveld, Mayuka, Ward-Prowse etc featuring tomorrow.

No alcohol served inside Villa Park by all accounts. Ridiculous! Where will everyone be drinking before the game?

Forget the FA Cup this year as we're unlikely to win it and don't need the build-up of extra games. Need to rest Fonte, Cork, Lambert, Puncheon etc on sat so they're ready for the massive game at Villa the week after.
