He had an opportunity to replace a player and clearly wanted to use full advantage of knowing the opposing lineup, by changing his team's approach. It didn't work, but that's down to the players at his disposal being poor rather than the tactics employed. We had chances to win the game, but what can he do about Ings missing another sitter or Lloris making a couple of world class saves? Some of our fan base is a right bunch of whingers. If it's not complaining about everyone not singing fully for 90 mins, it's our players not being top 6 quality, or their personal favorite players not getting the nod.

I thought the atmosphere in the away end was ok at spurs - not terrible and not great. First half there was a bit more to it, to be fair, but most of the second it was hard not to be feel a bit deflated as we fannied about instead of taking a shot. Certainly nowhere near as bad as West Ham last season! That was pretty damn awful all round.

Adams played a great ball to Obafemi, who laid on the goal for Ings. He wasn't totally ineffective, though he's had better games.
-
Personally, I didn't want him to play for us again after his showing against Chelsea in the FA cup semi final.
-
He could also be much less responsible for those signings, for all we know. Easy to lay blame on whoever you want if the facts are not known.

I reckon long will come on for redmond later

Anything more than nothing has to be a benefit for us.

If you require a win to get enjoyment, you're supporting the wrong team.

He was pretty explosive when he came on, made things happen. I'm not sure he's a left back though!

I got ST, 'pin' and car window sticker thing. My son (11) got a ST and nothing else.

To be fair, he can only race for about 50ft at a time then needs to rest up a bit.

I think there are very few, if any, prospective buyers of a football kit that will be put off by such a review. Though I reckon if they had added shoulder pads then the Times fashion editor might have rated it higher.
-
Huh? How the heck do you get to that being the only plausible reason for his departure?

Two weeks to go, a bit early for meltdowns.

I'm very much of the opinion that if Ralph can work his magic with Hoedt, Stephens, Cedric and Boufal, we're sorted for the season. That's a big if, admittedly.
-
The missing question mark! "yeh don't Everton need to balance for FFP? they have some absurdly high earners after their rather scattergun approach to transfers over the last couple of years."
-
I'm feeling much more positive about the team this upcoming season. We look so much more dangerous as an attacking force and can really see us turning over a few teams. I suspect our inability to keep clean sheets will keep our feet on the ground, but still should be an exciting season ahead.

What a load of tosh.

If it happens I reckon the transfer fee is less important than the wages it’d free up.
-
I thought Ralph was clear when he joined that a top 6 prem team wouldn't touch him until he'd proven his worth in the league. He's not gonna be here for long, but hopefully it will be successful for both sides.

Next thing you'll be telling me he didn't name his first and second born Sammy and Mary.

You want to question them now? You wanted answers without questions before. Have you sent the club a letter to ask them yet?
