take a look at the reason why. besides in YOUR OPINION its over emotive. this just in, football can be emotional, to some its more then just a business or a badge of honour when the teams doing well. Quite why you've decided it's for you to deride other fans for being angry and upset is beyond me.

The business belongs to him, the "club" belongs to the fans. If we all decided to bugger off and reform our own AFC club then it'd be ours in every sense and they'd be left with a franchise akin to american sports where a team is moved around the country on whim. Champions league or not it's not all about the glory for some of us.

True. As it happens I respect the players, they've worked hard and earned their chance. The likes of Lallana and Lambert deserve to be in the prem, they've been patient and worked hard. But I don't honestly feel I can be all happy clappy in the stands without it endorsing NC's decision. I think we all accept we're likely to have some conflicted emotions

Agree with the sentiment. Trouble is it's not just us, this is what english football has become. How often do yuo find yourself jealous of the Germans? As it stands I would kill for their league and way of doing things, no wonder Pep is going there rather then coming to the prem ...

Good shout. To be fair don't be surprised if some people DO decide to stay away. Don't get me wrong the team deserve our support but it's difficult to support them without seeming to endorse what NC has done. The everton game is likely to be my last for the season.

Emotions ar ehigh on this one. Fair to say we disagree on a few things but I wont go overboard, hardly you making the decisions Its not a manager going im unhappy about but the hows and whys of it all. Adkins out at the end of the year, did not perform/cortese wanted to go another way ok. They could've had a bit of dignity about it. Honestly? Your opinion doesn't really bother me, that's yours to have. I disagree. I want to support a club worth supporting and I hoped that I did. To be frank yes, you are being a wind up merchant. Yes, people have different opinions, it's a forum. Choosing to express yourself the way you have today? I can't but feel you'r just doing it for some attention. I'd suggest if you were "just here for the ride" you'd fit in more up at Chelsea.

Your usual wind up merchant routine, class, as ever. Do you honestly believe that is all football is about? Who's name is on the deed? The club is not just any other business, it has a history, a tradition and has relied on the fans for a lot longer then it has on any owner..

Seconded. It is OUR club not Cortese's. But for those concerned Everton will be the LAST game I go to all season.

Without the fans there is NO club. The new guy might not get boo'd and the players certainly wont but the decision and NC will. Simply saying "that's football" is a total kop out.

Spot on. The worst bit was he was a success. Its not like getting rid of McCarthy at Wolves, fans loved him but results were poor. Gutted.

Genuinely disgusted and ashamed. You know what I can't wait for the days of fan ownership, all the talk of champions league can do one, our club had pride for being different for being proper. I'd rather still be fighting it out in the championship under a fan owned model then be a plaything for a bunch of gloryseekers!
