  1. Or just buy them online?
  2. Spot on. Would ne a nice feature and cant hurt to have a few links with other clubs, away day info etc etc ..
  3. I cant name names but I have heard plenty of pundits being very positive about him. Nope I think you'r right we would have hoped for more but it's still early days yet for him AND mayuka. See how both are looking come this time next year then might be time to make full asessments.
  4. Good shout. Depending on who we bring in Mayuka out on loan may not be the worst shout, maybe for six months with recall option to somebody in the championship to keep him learning the english game, must be somebody who'd fancy taking a punt on him!
  5. If Chambers is ready for prem football ok but surely, should he want it, giving Richardson a short extension might be worthwhile? Cork CAN play rb fairly well but he is wasted there for me, too important in the middle of the park.
  6. Dont disagree with too much of that though Mayuka surely is worth keeping for longer and I still rate Richardson, cant think oh him doing much wrong when called upon this season and could still do a job for sure.
  7. They are here on merit. Dont like this "belong" thing, kind of suggests a clubs history etc illustrates where they should be in the league, its that kind of thinking that keeps liverpool fans in delusional bubbles and I hope our fans can avoid such things especially considerring our recent touch with near extinction!
  8. Any idea why? The club website had them as sold out. Were these home tickets, purposefully segregated ones, held back for some reason? Bizarre ...
  9. No worries pal, 1. Good. Always said anything above 17th would be a success and I stand by that. 2. Exceeded by some way! Had them to struggle with Clarke's inexperience and their relatively small budget but they've done well with some very astute signings. 3. Might be too soon to judge, let him make his own mark next year, but so far so good. I think the difference is that he built well upon what was already in place and has made small but significant improvements to a few individuals as well as changing how we play without the ball. Less sitting back more pressing play. 4. A tad bitter about the season your lot stayed up at our expense, was in a pub owned by wba fans at the time! But a very well run club and seem to do things the "right" way. Lot of respect for Pearce's handling of Odemwinge and took a bold step in appointing Clarke. 5. Ah. As above I suppose! Not the first time he's acted like an idiot, players seem very happy to play the martyr but this is a very well paid man throwing his toys out of the pram in a disgraceful way. WBA should be proud thay they stuck to their guns and showed they wont be bullied, hopefully more clubs will follow the example! 6. Was not a great spectacle and, at the time, genuinely believed it may have been Adkins last with all the rumours circling. Still think it may have been his death knell. WBA were clynical and effective with one of the best central midfields we've come up against, bossed the game. 7. Rodriguez. The lad is in real form and is playing with fantastic confidence. Also keep an eye out for Luke Shaw getting down the left flank, see what all the hype is about WBA dont seem to have many "stars" as such but Long always seems to work hard and create something from nothing, Yacob and Mulumbu will give Cork and Morgan one hell of a battle in the middle, that will be one to watch! 8. Honestly job to know. Been a virus striking down players in the last few weeks. Others will give you their best guess for starting XI so I will just add expect a cameo from Mayuka if things aren't going well for Saints. Not got going this season but looks sharp and surely due a goal 9. We've been good at home but I expect a close game with a draw not exactly being a shock, I'l back the boys though and go with saints 1-0 wba. Thanks.
  10. Sure somebody else will have numbers for you, all I know is our allocation sold out, tried and failed to get hold of a couple of tickets.
  11. Ok I was close He looked like he had a trick or two but certainly not special, think SPL level may be the lads limit. I actually rated Ward as a player out of the two mind and would have taken him on his versatility alone had we not gone up. Think it'd have been too much of a gamble to take him straight to the prem, well worth keeping an eye on though I fancy! May yet be playing premiership next season with Palace ...
  12. Villa are the form side and Wigan have the cup so they are favourites. Hope the stay too. Bringing through plenty of the academy, decent manager, good old fan base, Whelan is a twonk, we wont have to travel as far for the away games and the home game is more likely to sell out. Sure Martinez has done well and Wigan deserve credit for staying up as long as they have but it might just be their time ...
  13. Are you well?!?
  14. Assume you mean against us and, if I remember correctly, their goals came from Maguire (on loan from aberdeen at the time) and joel ward (now at palace).
  15. Have to say the formation didn't help in the first twenty for Fox. Often had two on one unless cork came across to help with AL being stuck up the pitch or more central to really help. Far as i'm concerned he help up Dyer pretty well most of the time and did a decent job. People seem to have thought it was dross, was I alone in enjoying it? Perhaps it's just not having to watch fearing a bad result would be a disaster for us (imagine others, that twonk dalek aside, may have felt something similar!).
  16. 'Arry wont be blamed by the media, no chance! It'l be he inherited a sinking ship, the players were lazy ... etc etc. Had they stayed up you can be damned sure it wouldn't have been look at the quality he inherited, title winners, internationals etc ... team spirit pulled them through. Nope it'd have been "Ah ol' 'Arry has wheeled and sealed and worked his magic"...
  17. About right really, they could have edged it but we could've nicked it. Similar story to wham last week where I thought we shaded it. Like to say fox had one of his better games today against two pacey players down their right. Boruc looked so assured again im starting to love the loon! Cork looked like the most comfortable man on the pitch and motm for me, it'd be him or williams for them ... Would have loved to have seen Mayuka's effort sneak in, could do with him getting a goal before the end of the year so next season he might hopefully hit the groung running. Still hope, and believe, he will be able to do a job for us just needs to work hard in training and take his oppurtunties when they come.
  18. "From the following corner Adam Lallana prods in after Vorm drops the ball - and he is unlucky to see the effort chalked off. Not sure there was much contact there. " BBC Sport may well disagree with you!
  19. If Morgan said I'd like to play champions league, the national side etc if I could do that all with soton great but ... I think that'd be fair enough!
  20. Hold on you know I did not say he was on that level. I do feel he showed some promise though. He'l never be a Vidic type beast of a cb but an effective reader of the game and somebody comfortable enough to play it out from the back more in the mould of Ferdinand, possibly though it has to be said he's got a long long way to go ...
  21. Ok fair opinion but, when he first turned up, he genuinely reminded me of Rio in that he looked like a player who read the game well and was willing to bring the ball forward. Admittedly his form since made me question what the heck i'd been thinking BUT I still think he has shown glimpses of potential. First season in a new league, two different managers, ever changing poor goalkeeping, a defence getting hammered and a side under pressure. See how he does next year
  22. No harm in honesty. If he shows the kind of form that interests Utd we will have had a heck of a player and a big transfer fee coming our way, hope he meets his ambitions for our benefit!
  23. Not sure it deserves another thread so thought i'd throw it in here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22143766 the bbc doesnt even have us as candidates for the drop!
  24. I thought mine was quite realistic yet still had us finishing ninth just by a point ahead of fulham in tenth with wigan going down after losing to Villa on the last day of the season (the margins were so slim that a wigan win would have sent norwich down!). I also had Stoke in a fairly comfortable 13th 6 points away from the drop with them having beaten Norwich and QPR to secure their survival.
