Thought schneiderlin 2nd half looked lost without cork there. Needs time to create an understanding with VW. For me cork is half the reason schneiderlin was as good as he was last season.

Did what I thought we should in playing 3 in the middle where wba are strong just suprised Jwp is ahead of cork. Look forward to seeing him this season. Heard recently that the club were close to having lotus as the clubs shirt sponsor at the beginning of the season. With the contract ending with aap this year, we could well end up with lotus as our sponsor next year which would be great income for the club along with the likes of eterna and sunseeker.

Hull I think have gone about their business astutely and under the radar. Huddlestone a coup, livermoore strong, graham the main man like he was at Swansea, sagbo big, strong and looking to make a name for himself. Think they may stay up with Cardiff. Palace need bent to agree to go on loan and to strengthen their defence as right now theyre in trouble. Think stoke palace and Sunderland in trouble with Fulham teetering.

I want to see j rod isolate lugano one on one as he is immobile and struggles against pace.

I think the quotes from Hodgsen are disrespectful to Lambert, and the fact that he chose 2 crocked players proves the lack of options. IMO its ridiculous to undermine Lamberts importance to our team. Ever since e has been here he has been the most prominent reason for our success. Last season people wrote him off and he proed them wrong. A team without rickie lambert, unless replaced with a quality striker, is significantly weaker. He has got us out of the brown stuff many a time. Plus, he shouldnt be judged on pre season form, he is working on fitness and always turns it on when it matters. I dot believe we have any other attacking player that can do that. Howeer I agree with the OP that a striker is needed but we still have a month to get our primary target, rather than worrying and going for a weaker option just because we hae entered august.

Punch and j rod were much more impressive than Lallana last year. Schneiderlin seems good at making those late bursts and can see him scoring goals now. On a similar wavelength to benji, very attacking bench. Not as attacking as aussi dogs though, might only have the 2 wingers and put a cb in there.

A greater case can be made for the skates, FA Cup winners 5 years ago, finalists 3 ago and now languishing in league 2. Wimbledon won but now don't exist, Boro finalists and bet they would have preferred 4th.

Vermalen for 5 million would be duh a statement. Left footed to replace jos and can cover at left back for Shaw when injured. Jos does well against big hoof teams but think we can sell him at a reasonable price and replace him with a cb that can cope with all types if opposition. Wouldn't fancy nzonzi awful discipline as shown in our away game. Would love osvaldo and think we should bid early for Mohamed Walsh from FC Basel. He is a great player and I think would bring more out of Gaston too. In fact he would be my first choice signing with astori.

The pitch is already removed and I have been told by a solid source that Saints will again hold the Leihberr cup, although I don't know the other teams, and one other home friendly against what has been described as a 'high profile Spanish side'. Would love barca or one of the Madrid sides, would any other Spanish side be considered high profile?
