Looking at the next 2 games, I predict that we could face arsenal having tied them on points. Then at the point we start playing the better teams, everyone else seems to be playing each other too. By the time we play these teams there could well just be goal difference separating us. Before the arsenal game I see it as: Chelsea 26 Liverpool 24 Arsenal 24 SAINTS 24 Spurs 23 City 22 Everton 22 United 18 By this time I think we will be treated with a lot of respect and I don't see us dropping too far when we play these big teams as they all seem to play each other at the same time. Plus we can definitely get some points. Look forward to seeing the Xmas league table.

I can't see Cortese ever considering declining the possibility of more games, therefore more money from tickets. Also, any European competition will only result in our club growing in stature. For instance I think a lot of European fans and teams are seeing what Swansea are about. I get that it would disrupt our league campaign but considering where we were 4 years ago, it's stupid to think we would decline. I also think we would obviously invest in more players so that list would be changed and a team finishing 6th and in Europe would be even more desirable to world class players.

The way I see it is that palace cannot be underestimated. They lack quality but possess fight. If osvaldo and Ramirez play there is only pressure on their back 4 from our wingers as they both stroll out of possession. Don't see how you can rate gastons performances as greater than j rods since they arrived. Just isn't the case.
