Well there goes my dream!!!

Think of all those lovely ad breaks they like to get in! Always gets on my nerves the one right before kick off. They've handed over to the commentator who's gone through the teams and all the extra info regarding form, your excitement builds as it gets closer to that first whistle......... "it's the match up you've all been waiting for and we're ready for kick off.............right after this commercial break"

The fanbase up here is fairly divided on Pearson at the moment. I think it's just about tipping in the direction of them wanting him to stay for now. The fans wanting him gone have all mentioned what we did with Adkins but I do explain how lucky we were with that one and it doesn't always happen like that. I also feel that if they do go back down, Pearson is actually one of the better candidates for bringing them straight up again. One thing is consistent though no matter which side of the fence they are on and that is how weird his display on Saturday was. He genuinly looks like a guy having a bit of a breakdown and possibly struggling with the pressure he is clearly under at the moment. his outburst from earlier in the season was another massive indicator of this.

I read a few reports about this earlier saying they expected it to reach £4.5b so the clubs are well and truly winners here! Sounds like beIN Sports might enter as a player here as well which I hope is true as the above mentioned companies already have far too much power. Personally I'd love to see the addition of a few smaller packages mainly aimed at the terrestrial market. Maybe 3-4 games a season that can only be purchased by a terrestrial station. I'd love to see Sky try and big up a 'Super Sunday' of Burnley vs Stoke followed by Aston Villa vs Sunderland whilst Channel 4 then get to show Chelsea vs Man City kicking off at 4pm.

I think part of his effectiveness is actually his unpredictability which is why he can also be a frustrating player at times clearly as you've mentioned not just for us supporters. When what he is trying to do comes off he looks like a genius but on the flip side of that it can sometimes look like he doesn't know what he's doing which possibly leads to him getting a bit more stick than he deserves sometimes. IMO of course!

I must admit I had my doubts about him during that run in December. Happy to say he has more than proved me wrong since christmas and is proving a very valuable member of the team. I still think some of the comments on here were a bit much as even when he was poor you could see the quality was there with his touch and pace. Compare it to Mayuka who I am yet to see anything good from at all. I think with Mane it was maybe a confidence thing at the time whereas with Mayuka I think he's just not a top quality player and probably never will be. If the Guardian have Mayuka as the 85th best player in the world then I think Mane would have a chance of getting in the top 10!!

Does anyone here happen to know how long it takes for games to be available to watch on skyGo on demand??? I have a dilema today regarding when to watch the game. Basically I have to work until 4pm so don't know whether to attempt to avoid the result and watch it on skyGo when I get home or to take an extended lunch break and watch it during that? I would prefer the former but don't want to go to such lengths to avoid the score to then get home and discover I can't view the game until tomorrow!!! Please can anyone help with this??

How long before Beattie is scoring against us for Accrington Stanley?!?!?! On the subject of Dyer i was very impressed with the respect he showed the club despite the insistance on a number of fans booing him! Anybody know the reasoning behind this?? He left at a time when we had to sell due to our financial circumstances, I don't remember anything particularly negative about the situation (petty crime aside)
